Wayne Morris Ford is business of the month. The Chamber real made this big production out of it! A bunch of members came by, brought us biscuits, gave us a goody bag(Margarett and I grabbed it up), put a sign on the front lawn and a sign by the door where most customers come in. Wayne made a little speech and talked for a second a said he was embarrassed and I said I'm not! Meagan, the chamber leader, I don't know her job title, said all my hard work paid off! I really think they were just desperate! Our picture will be in the paper. I was right up front and in the middle!
There just isn't time to blog anymore. Brian and I had real sit down lunch together today. It was really nice. He was fussing about how much it cost but I told him you can't put a price on quality time with me! He didn't laugh!
We have had a slow week this week. We were off yesterday and today. Next week makes up for it. It is crazy busy! JB wants to have family game night tonight. I guess if Brian gets home at a reasonable hour we will. If not they will be having single father game night because I will be in bed!
I am trying to decide what to do next week about Cydneys soccer games. Monday her game is in Columbus. I don't usually travel that far but she is down to just three games. G has a softball game but it isn't until 7:30. It doesn't matter if I miss it Brian will be there. Then on Tuesday Cyd has soccer at home at 5, G and JB have softball/baseball at 6 and Cyd has softball at 7:30. I will see most of the soccer game and catch the tail end of G and JB's games. I will see some of Cyd's softball game but I will take the little ones on home to get ready for bed and eat supper. Then Wednesday it is Cyd's last scheduled soccer game in Americus so I think I am going to take the little ones and us all go to that game. Then Cyd will have playoffs or something but we don't know the dates or times or places of that yet. Actually if my memory serves me correctly Mary, Brian's mom, might be coming down Tuesday to see those games.
Cydney will be 17 on Sunday. I am so sad. I ask my friend Shannon can she believe I have made it this far and neither one of us have hurt the other! I remember when she was just a tiny girl and I would go to bed thankful I got her to eat supper. Thinking one more day down. Thank the Lord children learn to talk and can help you out when eating!
The children only have 20 more days of school left. Then Cydney will be a Senior! Ok. I'm sad!
I guess thats all I can think of right now. If it rains really hard Sunday and Monday morning I won't have to worry about those games!

BUSINESS OF THE MONTH

More than a month since I posted...
Melissa isn't doing much better than I am.
We had a baseball game at 10:00, practice at 10:00 and soccer in Columbus at 4:00. Praise the Lord with the bad weather everything got canceled!
We have just all been taking it easy. Justin was able to play for a few hours. I think Cydney has probably grown to the couch by now...Grayce and James Brian are playing with the new children up the street. Waiting for the big storm to hit.
I am doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms and everything in between that doesn't get done during the week.
Since I last blogged we have gone to Panama City for spring break. We had a wonderful visit with our friends from Canada. Momma O baked me 5 loaves of bread! We brought home a shoe box sized box of choclate chip cookies and she stayed in the kitchen cooking the whole time we were there! We have so much fun with them. The children just love them and they love us just as much.
We hadn't been in Panama City for 3 hours when Cydney was awarded a trophy for yelling and honking the horn and impeding the flow of traffic! That trophy cost her $270.00! I tried to get it "fixed" before I had to tell Brian but none of my friends in Perry or Houston County had friends in Panama City and on top of that the police department wouldn't even return the calls. Have you ever been to Panama City on spring break? How can Cydney impede the flow of traffic? Since then she keeps getting letters in the mail from attorneys and traffic schools. I think they all have something going.
My mom and Brance came to visit for a few days. Mom planned it so she could see everybody play all thier sports. So she saw Cyd play soccer, G play softball, Cyd play softball and JB play baseball. JB was way down the batting order but he has moved up to third! The coach told him he had a big stick! He got the game ball a couple of games ago because he has 4 RBI's! He always gets a double or triple and last game he got an inside the park homerun. Mom sent him a $2 bill! He is loving baseball!
I haven't seen a lot of soccer games. Cydney is loving it. A couple of times she has gotten to take a shot but hasn't scored. I think she will before its over.
Since we didn't have enough to do Grayce is playing on a tournament team. We are not going to travel far though and if she for some reason she can't be there the team will still have enough to play without her. She is pitching on both teams and it wears me out! I want her to do good but I can't hardly watch her.
Cydney plays third base most of the time. A couple of games she has play second. A few games ago she dove for the ball and got it and from her knees threw the girl out at first. She is an awesome athlete.
Prom: God's way of punishing parents! The prom was last week. Cydney went with friend from school, Blake, he was a cutey. It was a break down from the moment her feet hit the ground Saturday morning. Cyd doesn't do well with the stress of having to get fancied up! That was one day I was glad see come to an end!
My friend Dana, she lives in NC. Her mom is deathly sick. She has alzheimers that has totally racked her body. I wanted to go see her so last Sunday morning I went to Holly Hill. I had a wonderful time visiting Dana. I did see her mom but she didn't know what was going on. Dana and I are elementary school friends and just laugh about nothing for no reason at all. I miss her so much. When her mom finally does go I will have to be with her. Brian kept the children. James Brian has some kind of pain and was up 1/2 the night and Cydney got a bladder infection. Everything seem to call down when I got home. On that Sunday Grayce went to the UGA softball game. She got to meet her hero and get her picture made with Taylor Shlope! I think that was the highlight of her life so far. Grayce started liking her last year during softball...she is a little tiny girl and is fiesty!
Grayce's grade has a three day field trip to Savannah. I couldn't go this time and she didn't want to go without me so she just stayed home. She and I went to the bodies exhibition in Atlanta on Thursday. It was really cool. Then we went to visit her friend Caroline in the hospital...she has back surgery...she is home and doing great!
Brian and I are working everyday. Ford still comes every 10 days or so. I am still on the board at PJL. I keep saying I am going to quit when the uniforms are finished but it just keeps dragging on. I finally got the bill to pay and the stinking accountant was out of the office! I am supposed to be in until August so I guess at this point since we are meeting very often I might as well hang in there.
I guess that it our last month in a nut shell! I have to go clean something!

Happy Anniversary to Us!
Sunday Brian and I celebrated 23 years of married bliss! Well bliss might be stretching it but we are married still! Actually we just had a converstion about how we put up with different things from each other and we get along just perfect. I am so blessed to have Brian as my husband!
We had such a wonderful day. JB and Brian went to Atlanta to the race. I went shopping and G went to church with grandmomma. Cydney and I had a great lunch together just the two of us. Then she had a project to finish.
Brian and I did go to Longhorns for lunch today. I had to secret shop so it was paid for!
We played softball for half the day Saturday. G had a scrimmage game. She did great. She played shortstop, first base, pitched and caught! She is an amazing player!
Cydney has another soccer game tomorrow and Wednesday. She is at practice right now. I am so proud of her. Her schedule is packed with activities. But remember an idle mind is the devils workshop!
James Brian is playing wrestlers in his room! He and Grayce both have practice tomorrow. I won't get to see much of it because Cyd has some away games that I will have to miss so I want to see all the home games I can.
My dryer finally went so Lowes brought the new one today. Wow it is wonderful.
We have the entire night off. I am looking forward to dinner with the family!
Not much else is happening.

Cydneys Team Wins The Seasons First Soccer Game!
Go Hornets! I think they scored more goals yesterday than they did all season last year. They also beat the team that creamed them last time they played. That is a perfect way to start off the season!
We are practicing ball everyday. Cyd goes from soccer to softball and somewhere in between fits in homework.
G's team has a practice game tomorrow at 2:00. We have a coach's meeting at 10:00 and guess what....I am skipping it! (I'm not a coach!)
Grayce is playing outside with Mackenzie and JB is playing with Justin. Cydney is working at the carlot.
Today was grandparents day at our school. Only the k-4 thru 5th grade participate. It was cute watching JB but I couldn't care less about all the other children! Thank goodness it only lasted about an hour. It really is amazing that they can get 250 plus children organized and move around stage, sing in front of at least 500 adults. This time a lot of the children played instruments. James Brian played a woodbar. (don't ask).
I am working everyday. I went to curves two times this week. I like to go three but I did walk alot today.
We don't have anything to do until tomorrow when it is time to go to the game! I am so excited. I get to sleep late! (7ish).
The boys are still thinking about the race on Sunday. JB wants to go, I don't think Brian really cares. Cydney has a project so she thinks she can't go and Grayce and I can't make up our mind what we want to do!
I guess that is about all exciting this week.
