Today is Tuesday!

Not too much to report today. G had a game. We won 19-0! She didn't pitch but her team mate did a really good job. She will have to pitch the whole game on Friday. Cydney stayed home with her friend Jessica so I had to be den mother. Yuck. I couldn't see too good from the dugout and the whole idea is to keep the batting order in line and I kept forgetting what I was doing!

Now we are just trying to get ready for bed. James Brian rolls in the dirt and then ask me does he have to get a bath. Children are so silly. I just tell him no as long as he sleeps in his room. He usually just jumps right in after that.

Cydney will be 15 on Friday and I am totally stressed!

More games and practices tomorrow and then after this busy week we have the weekend off. I think we might go to the lake. If it is warm. It has gotten a little chilly again here today.

Until next time.....

Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Catch up Day!

The color is gone. It seems it doesn't work when I use the laptop and Brian and James Brian are hogging the real computer listening to track pass and watching the race. I don't like to use black it makes it look like I am angry!

Thurdsay G has ball practice and that was just about all the excitement for the day.

Friday everyone went to school. My sister, Melissa, came to visit. I would like to think she came to see me but she really just brought her corvertte to see if we could sell it. She was thinking about buying a mustang convertible and while she was driving it they got a customer on it. She had to take it back and they bought it! I guess she was out of Gods will, huh? She picked James Brian up from school. He was so excited for Lissy and Annie to pick him up. I went shopping for a little while. It isn't like I went off and left her. She was visiting with daddy and there wasn't any sense in me sitting there holding her hand. After lunch we, Annie, James Brian and I kept Shannon's baby Finn. I love that child. He is cute and sweet and silly but I am so thankful I don't have a baby. He is a mess! He is a little human vacuum and he pees every thirty seconds. We enjoyed him and will be itching to keep him again but my hat is off to Shannon!

Saturday was busy. G's team had pictures at 9:00 a game at 10:00. James Brian had pictures at 10:30 and a game at 12:00. It wasn't miserably hot but I don't know what is going to happen in the summer. uggg! Melissa was a big help. She picked up Cydney and James Brian and brought them to the field so they wouldn't have to get up real early. She also finished dressing JB. He said she could put on socks real good! Then Saturday night we went to our friends the Johnsons for a party. It was fun and we stayed out too late. But I can sleep when I am dead, right!

G pitched the whole game and she did so good. She wears this face mask so she if she gets hit in the face it won't break anything. I will remember to take her picture. Well I like that she wears it but I can't see the emotion on her face. She did get excited on the last out and did her fist in the yes thing we all do. She also sushed me when she was on the pitchers mound and then when she came to the dugout she read me the riot act. So I am not allowed to do anything but watch. I make her nervous! She also hit a homerun. Not on errors either. A real home run. I said to daddy the bat she uses has something to do with it and he said no she hit the ball that hard. She is like dynamite. She is a little tiny thing and then bang.

James Brian is starting to like baseball better. It is starting to move faster and he doesn't get so bored. He did finally have a couple hit to him yesterday. He only got to bat one time and he got a double. I keep getting aggravated and Brian says he has to learn to pay attention before I can fuss. Whatever! I am going to get that coach.

Sunday: We went to Sunday school and church. We are such good people! Now we are sitting around just resting. The boys are watching the race. I am playing on the computer the girls are doing homework and cleaning thier rooms! We usually have practice on Sunday so it is nice to not have a committment one day of the week.

The public schools test are over so next week it is back to business. We have ball everyday next week. I don't know how they expect us to fit in school work.

I guess that is it for today.

Until next time....

Another Perfect Day!

There is no other name for such a perfect day and two in a row! Life is good!

Today has been just like any other day of late. James Brian had farm day at school and they brought animals for them to see. Some of the children got to touch them but James Brian chose not to do that. His friend Jack came home with him from school. He was so polite I could have just squeezed him but, I didn't want to scare him. I will get him next time though.

We picked up the girls from school and dropped Jack off. His siblings go to our school also. Now we are home I have cooked supper and James Brian and I are about to play Monster trucks, while we are watching monster trucks on tv.

No ball tonight. We got word last night about pictures for the team so Saturday we have two ball games and two picture appointments. I am looking forward to see how it is going to all work out. I am super woman. Well maybe I should say wonder woman because I am wondering how it is going to work out!

My sister is still coming. James Brian is looking forward to seeing Annie. I know he had rather see Brance because he is the boy but he still loves Anniebell.

Until tomorrow.....

Why Can't It Be Like This Everyday!

Nothing to report today. The weather could not be more perfect if you placed an order for it! James Brian and I cleaned out the car. We just tidied it up. Got out all the trash and took a whisk broom to the floor. He played in the water hose. Cydney and Margarett used to play in the water all the time. It made me a little sad. They grow up too fast.

Same ole, same ole. CFA, school, run errands, ball practice.

James Brian and I went to the mall to swap some things. He was really sweet and it only cost me about $15.00 extra having him with me! It was worth it!

We are doing homework and getting ready to go to the field.

My sister says she is coming Friday. She better not get me excited and then not come.

Until tomorrow...

Everybodys Happy!

I felt like typing in pink today but it didn't show up!

We are home from school and everyone is happy. We had a good ride home. No one yelled! Not even me! You would think it was a long way home but it is only about ten minutes! Cydney wants in quiet in the car. James Brian is usually talking 90 to nothing and Grayce is having to tell me word for word what ever girl in the grade said today!

I am cooking supper and blogging at the same time. I try to have it ready when they get home so they don't each junk food. Then before bed everyone will come and get a snack! It works for us!

Brian has lost 12 pounds. I told him to quit drinking mountain dew. He didn't believe me but sure enough he is been drinking only water and every now and then a glass of tea and it has worked. I am happy for him because he hardly eats anything excepts salads! I was eating the other day and apparently I was slightly hormonally challenged because I just kept eating, he asked me did I think the doctor put a zipper in my stomach that I could just unzip and suck the fat out. I said your real funny, fat boy!

I guess that is all for today. It is funny that all our excitement revolves around the ballfield. Thats even where all our friends are except the Johnsons. Well I mean we have our church friends and school friends and dealership friends but you get the idea!

Until next time....

Perfect Sunday!

What a beatiful day. I should have gone to the carlot and drove the convertible around a little while but I don't really like my hair blowing in my face besides I have a sunroof!

James Brian did really good at his game today. He got to bat two times and got a double both times!

Brian, Cydney and Mr. Al, a man that drives for us at the carlot, went to our land to look for turkeys. Mr. Al hunts them and Brian never has so Mr. Al was going to show him how to do it. I am not sure why Cydney went but she did and I am glad she got out of the house. I am sure her texting with scare the turkeys away so I guess she and her daddy will work that out when they get there!

The public school has CRCT next week so we have a slow week. I am looking forward to it! It is funny how you take doing nothing for granted!

Well nothing else exciting. Until tomorrow.......

The Rain Went Away!

Today turned out okay after all. I wasn't off the phone with the coach 3 minutes until it stopped raining for the day. oh, well.

Brian deceided to go to work because we weren't sure of the rain and he didn't want to waste his day sitting in the house. Lord knows a person can also play so much Monster truck!

I cooked supper. I usually cook but two nights in a row Cyd has gobbled it up! I love it when that happens.

Now we are sitting outside enjoying spring weather at 7:00 at night. No mosquitos, yet! I bet they just haven't found us. Those little demons are out there somewhere, they always are. James Brian is swinging a stick and running and G and Cyd are pitching.

We still have a practice tomorrow and a game. I just got a call to make sure JB would be there. His coach says there are only going to be nine players. YEA! It is so boring maybe they will move a little faster with fewer children. I think Brian and I are probably the oldest parents there and we have been thru this two times already and it just isn't that funny when they are making it a contact sport. I just want to yell move along folks but Brian won't let me!

My sister didn't come after all she couldn't make up her mind so I told her when that happens I believe God is saying don't do it. I was a little disappointed but maybe next week. She took Annie to build a bear. I know she needed another bear but whatever makes her happy.

We are waiting for Brian to get home, so we can play some more. Actually they will play I will go finish cleaning JB's room. Hurricane Katrina has nothing on his room besides the mud! If someone broke into our house when they saw his room they would think somebody had already robbed us!

Well the mosquitos have found us. Until tomorrow......

Rain Cancels Everything!

We didn't have anything to do last night, again, so the little ones wanted to go the the ballfield and see Sam play. Sam is my friend Shannons little boy. I think the truth is Grayce just wanted to see Finn, Shannons baby. So we spent 2 hours at the ballfield watching Sam, playing with Finn and visiting with people that we don't see much anymore. It wasn't so bad. I miss my friends Abby and Andy from last year.

Then we came home and I grilled shrimp for Cydney and Brian. Our other friends Stephanie and Todd cooked it last year at the beach for us. I did a really good job and Cyd and B gobbled it up but I have to say it would have tasted better at the beach!

Today we had a game at 9:00 and pictures at 10:00. So I got up early and got ready and just before I was about to leave they cancelled everything because of the rain. So now tomorrow we have a game at 2:00 and a practice at 2:00 and who knows when pictures are going to be made up.

This is Brians Saturday off. He is ready to take us anywhere or do anything we want but what can you do with it raining? The children wouldn't mind riding 4 wheelers in the rain but I don't want to get dirty! So he went to work and we are just sitting around for few minutes trying to get organized! I thought about Six Flags or Stone Mountain but it is raining up there too. I guess it won't hurt to stay home on Saturday and attempt to clean house. We can probably get it all done if everyone helps and then Monday I could go to the mall while James Brian is at school! I am such a planner!

Check back tonight for an update!

My sister called and her games also have been cancelled so she is thinking about coming down. I hope she can. I don't see her much and it will be fun to have pictures to add to my blog!

No More Nascar!!

Okay Really. I am getting complaints from my family. First they want to know about the children and second they don't care so much about NASCAR. I do think my anut was surprised that I knew so much!

Brian is off today. He tried to play golf this morning but he had bought a load of 4 wheelers from a store in Alabama that was going out of business so he got a call to go and unload them. After it was over he realized I could have gone. He only ended up having to unlock the warehouse. So now he is home. Brian, James Brian and I had lunch in our kitchen today. Now they are playing playstation 3. Racing. Imagine That.

I forgot to tell this story yesterday but I picked up my friend Robins son Bailey after school. We dropped him off at his house which is the next subdivision over. No main roads between our house and theirs. James Brian asked could he drive. I let him sit and my lap and drive. He is weaving all over and I ask him what he was doing. He said he was just warming up the tires! That child has racing on the brain.

Tonight we only have one game at 6:00. We should be home by eight. Cydney ask could she stay home today because she was tired. Of course I said no. She is afraid she is going to miss something so she won't go to sleep. I let her get a mountain dew before school.

I guess that about sums up today activities. Hopefully the girls won't have much homework. There is nothing good on tv tonight. So I don't know what we will do after the game. We could sit around with each other and talk I guess. I don't really see that happening. I don't think we could all get along, that includes me and Brian!

Uncle Bobby are you still there? Whats your take on things.

Until next time.....

It is 7:46. We just got home from the game. I had to express my anger. We were leading 3-0, G is pitching a no hitter and the coach takes her out. We lose 3-5. We did get a few bad calls but that is not why we lost. I am grouchy but she is taking in stride. She always does as long as she does good.

Good night.

You Go Girl

Dang It, the color is gone again.

Hey Kim: I think or maybe I should say thought we were all having fun. I am not a redneck girl either but did grow up in redneck country. Cherokee County. I have not outgrown my raisings all though I am educated enough not to be a total fool! I have the best brother in law in the world but he is from Lumpkin County. Redneck is not what he is. I am sure what he is actually. I live in one of the wealthest counties in Georgia but there are certainly rednecks here!

I love NASCAR although I don't take my shirt off or get drunk or use the f word at the race track. My son and my husband love to go but I prefer to watch it from home.

I hate wrestling. Isn't Alpharetta where Chris Benot was from? I think it is staged. Fake is probably not the right word. They said it themselves not those exact words on Larry King just a couple of weeks ago. I do think they are athletes and I do think it is dangerous. I also know they get really hurt accidently. Although it would be fun to sock a coworker in the nose and go ooops sorry, accident!

Lets all remember we have our own opinion and that is what makes the world go around. It would be a boring place to live if we all like and thought the same things. I enjoy reading the comments but lets be nice to each and not hurt feelings. I don't want to block them because occaionally my family leaves me a note.

Kim maybe you and I will go the the DPR and buy Bubba a nice big fancy steak. The steaks are really good!

Good night and God Bless America!

We Are Going To End Up On Jerry Springer!

Can't we all just get along.

K.M. Do you really want to see JR without his shirt on. I think he is too skinny. I don't think Carl is hot in the face but you do have to admit his body is smokin. Gosh I hope your a female!

R.W. I can't do anything with my sister. She might shoot me. She is telling the truth, she would have just shot the neighbors goat. Lord help us all.

Bubba: Didn't the man in black sing a song about shooting a man just to watch him die?

Family Stuff:

We had fun at the games last night. James Brian did really well. He hit the ball but right down the first base line so that got him out both times. He didn't care he was just glad to hit the ball and get to run. I am starting to get an attitude because the coach always sticks in him right field. I understand he is younger than most of the others and I keep telling myself the coach is just trying to keep him from getting hurt. He doesn't pay attention either. But no balls are every hit to him. How does he know he can't pay attention if he is getting some activity his way. So I will be a good mother and keep my mouth shut but in a week or so I am going to suggest he swap the left and right fielders so everyone gets a chance. Then next year Brian can coach and he can play where he wants to and bat wherever he wants. I know they look at Brian and I and think we are just late in life parents and probably don't spend any time with him. Well for one we spend every day light minute pitching ball just about and second he was playing ball almost before he could walk and third his sister is a World Series participant. So he can just stick that in his ear! Now that was said in anger!

G's team won. Not as much this time. We swapped pitchers around and kind of took it easy on them and she was upset because she couldn't pitch. She just doesn't get that she can't pitch every game. I can see her face when she is playing first. She hates not being in full control. She is a fiesty little thing.

Cyd played den mother and kept the girls in line in the dugout. You can't get out of batting order or its an out. You can't come out of the dugout without a helmet or its an out. So that keeps her busy. 11 little girls are a talkative bunch and a handful to keep up with. She is good with them. I told Rob I would help him but I drew the line at working the dugout. I actually don't like others people children!

No games or practices tonight. I had supper ready when the children came in from school that way they don't eat junk food. The girls are supposed to be doing homework and JB is wondering around waiting for G to play with him. It is kind of sad because she doesn't want to play monster truck and he said I will play whatever you want to.

JB and I had lunch with daddy today at Applebees. YICK. I hate it almost as bad as I do Chedders.

I think tomorrow is the last day for our school to have the CRCT. It isn't that important to our school. I am not even sure why they take it. I am sure it is for the state to say we are either as good or better than everyone else! To celebrate they are having an ice cream party on Friday.

That is about all I can think of besides I am getting carpal tunnel syndrome from all the typing.

Just a Note Real Quick!

The color is back! Yea Me!

No NASCAR today, sorry folks. Except do you think my sister has anger issues. Plus she gets real defensive on things she believes in.

Apparently I never mention my brother on my blog. I am sorry Michael. I love you. He and my daddy are my best buddies. He is the proud sperm donor to the expected NASCAR CHAMPION in production as we speak!

We have two games tonight. JB at 5:45 and G at 7:30. So we are going to eat supper at the ball field. There is just something about a hot dog at a ballpark that is yummy! We are playing the same team we played on Saturday. It might be a real short game. They might not even show up. I wouldn't if I was playing us! GO KRUSHERS!

Maybe I will have some pictures to post tomorrow. Maybe I can find a new picture of Carl. Shucks I might just put Jimmy Johnson for the heck of it!

Did anybody watch the CMT awards last night. I like Billy Ray Cyrus. I still can't believe I bought the achy breaky cd all those years ago. Actually Brian bought it for me! My sister loves Hannah Montana and I think she and Taylor Swift are really good role models. I just hope they don't fall off the wagon. I don't think BR will let Miley.

Well, until tomorrow......

No Nascar For Two Weeks??

Hey where's my color. That little color box didn't pop up this time so I think I am in black and white. Boring. I only like to use black when I am angry!

Hey new friends: this first part is about my family. If you don't want to read it skip down to about 1/2 way and the nascar stuff picks up!

Today everyone went to school. I went to the dealership. I know thats a surprise! Well while I was visiting with Brian, Coach Robert came in so I ended up not leaving until almost 10:00. Then I ran home and started laundry and then had to go buy another Monster Truck. He is getting pretty smart about that bribing. Actually that was the truck I owed him from the other day.

After his school we went to show off the monster truck. We were going to lunch with daddy but he was going to Chedders. I hate Chedders. So JB deceided he would eat BK. Yuck.

So now we are home playing play station and monster trucks waiting for it to snow! It was sleeting at my sisters house around lunch.

The girls have a radio commerical today so Margarett is picking them up. Hopefully she will bring them home and I can stay in the rest of the day. It is getting cold. Well it is colder feeling because it was so warm on Friday and Saturday morning.

I know I say this almost everyday but hopefully we can settle down early. I don't mean 6:00 early but it would be nice if I could get them settled about 8:00. My children really need a little extra sleep they are just are to nosey to give it up. Not me I could take a nap anytime I sit still for two seconds!

Not much else. Hopefully they won't have alot of homework. G has ITBS test this week.

I got something really cool in the mail today. It was from Walt Disney World. I have been chosen to be a Mickey Mom. Actually probably anybody that signed up got chosen. But it was a cool pkg with all kinds of stuff in it. Two of those trading pins people collect, a mouse pad, some stickers and some more stuff. My sister is going to be angry is she didn't get the pkg. Maybe I won't tell her I will just wait and see if she gets one and then it will be okay. Except I am sure she will read it here first! She will call down to Disney and get it handled if she doesn't get one. I know her.

We found out today Brandi is having a boy! It is a glorious day in the Morris family!

Two weeks until another race. How will we all survive. The Nationwides are running though, so at least my man will be out there for one race.

Bubba I know I am welcome at the pool room. Nobody knows who I am, Ha! You might sick Wild Bill on me though! I might just show up with Carl and Jason one day and we will just give Bill a call and they can swap war stories. Just teasing don't get excited!

K.M. I think you can probably get counseling over that JR. problem you have! (Just teasing!) Now he is third in points, that makes me angry! How does that happen. I hate to repeat myself, but how can you put down a man who is third in points.

I personally like the old man being at the top. Jeff Burton. I don't really mean old but you know he has been around longer that most.

We have had a Great Day!

We have had a perfect Sunday. Well, I couldn't make it to Sunday school but Brian and G did. Cyd, JB and I made it in time for church. It was confirmation Sunday today. The Methodist do things a little different than the Church Of God. They send the 6th graders thru a class and then they appear to be saved, I think during that class they make a committment to Christ, then during confirmation they join the church. Well in the Church of God, how I grew up, when the Holy Spirit spoke to you that is when you gave your life to Christ. I have been going to the Methodist Church for about 10 years and I still can't figure that part out. I once asked did you have to be saved before you started there because they never have alter call. At the COG we had it every week. I hope everyone that goes to our church is saved but I honestly don't think any church could be that lucky. Plus I don't think we would be doing our job if everyone was already saved. We need to be bring in some lost souls.

After church we picked up KFC. It was okay but I remember why I never eat there. It is really greasy.

Then we went to a birthday party at the bowling alley. It was fun. Well I didn't bowl but I had fun visiting with the parents. I think we have found something G can't do. She was aggravated because JB's score was higher, well he was using those keep it out of the gutter guard things.

Brian cut grass at our land today. He loves it there. I wished we could hurry up and build a house. I guess we could if everyone who reads this blog would come a buy a car from us. I think he just enjoys being outside looking for wild animals. There really isn't much difference between men and boys is there.

Brian and Cyd are outside throwing the ball. JB is playing playstation and I am pretending to watch him. G just went to ride her 4 wheeler.

It is supposed to be 30 degrees in the AM. I just don't get it.

Our ball schedule doesn't seem to be as busy as it has been in the past. There is nothing on the schedule for tomorrow and both children have a game on Tuesday. JB at 5:45 and G at 7:30. We will be at the ball field all evening and it will be cold. The good thing is we will get it over with in one night!

Oh ,one last thing on NASCAR. I fell asleep last night but this is my blog and I can say what I want to about who ever I want to. Carl Edwards and the Roush Fenway teams are still my favorite. Jimmy Johnson should win a race every now and then for heavens sake he has been the champion for the last two years. But Carl Edwards has been the most consistent of them all I don't care who your favorite is. And Chad Knauss is still a cheater!!

Boy am I looking forward to the comments now. Hey Bubba don't be too hard on me!

Saturday, April 12, 2008

ONE DOWN, 15 TO GO OR MAYBE 16!

Games that is. I think G has either 16 or 17 to play and James Brian has 12 or 13.

Grayce and James Brian both had ball games this morning. We thought it might rain and it did but not bad enough to quit playing. GRRR.

Grayces game turned into more of practice. The final score was 28-0. We Won. They have a mercy rule after 10 but the scoreboard wasn't working and the umps weren't keeping up so they just kept playing. If it had of been broadcast all over the field I would like to think our coach wouldn't have let it get that out of hand.

JB's pictures got canceled so we hung out at the dealership for a few minutes. Then back to the field for his game. It was a little better than last year. 3 outs or 7 runs. So the other team kept getting 7 runs and we kept getting out 3 times real quick. Everyone just got to bat one time but that was fine with me. I was ready to go! Brian was there for both games and had to help G's team a little. At JB's game he mostly just visits with his friends and pretends to watch. He is such a girl! Really he is a good daddy and doesn't miss their games. Sometimes he can't stay the whole time but he will always be there for a while. (i love that G reads over my shoulder and corrects my spelling as i type).

Well now I am going to get my friend Shannon come over and help me bleach my hair. Something along the lines of slutty!

I suppose the rest of the night we will just hang out. The weather is yicky out so we don't really want to go anywhere. I have almost want to work in the yard and plant some flowers but for one I think it is too wet and the other thing is on Monday it is supposed to be 30 degrees. I wished the weather could get on one season or the other.

After working sooo00 hard in the house yesterday, the upstairs still looks like Hurricane Katrina went thru minus the mud. The girls will help me if I just get up and get going. I have learned if I tell James Brian I will buy him a monster truck he will do tricks. I am sure that would make any counselar crazy to hear a mother bribing a 5 year old but hey I am not offering to buy him drugs. Yesterday he did tell his friend Steve, a salesman at the dealership, that he was going to wait until he was 7 or 8 to drink beer. Aren't I lucky!

Don't think I missed the race yesterday. My man Carl finished 2nd. He was just taking it easy. Probably saving all his energy for tonight. Go Big Man!

Cydney is supposed to down load that commercial onto this blog maybe she will do it today.

Until tomorrow.....

Another Day Without Anything To Do!

I could get used to this!

Last night G has a scrimmage game. She pitched! She was smokin'! Well it could help that the girl that pitched a couple of innings ahead of her was terrible and slow. So we enjoyed her looking so good. Cydney and JB went which was nice surprise. We all just hung around together!

Then I took everyone to school this morning and I usually go to the carlot to check on things. Today I told Brian I was coming straight home. That was nice. I got to watch what I wanted to on the TV. Really I had a nice conversation with my mother in law, cleaned the den, cleaned the kitchen, started the laundry, cleaned out a basket of stuff that was in my car! I did more before 10:00 than most people do all day.

Then it was down hill from there! I picked James Brian up from school. I promised him a Monster Truck if he would go to school today so we had to go to Walmart. Then he wanted Arbys for lunch because they have good toys, whatever. We went to the dealership first to show his friend Steve the new monster truck and to make a looonnnnggg story short we ended up eating sandwiches with stuff from Walmart!

Then time passed by and it was time to get the girls. I drove what I thought was a cool car but Cyd thought it was ugly. Then they had to film a commerical and we just got home at 6:00! If I can figure out how to put the commercial on this blog I will add it.

We have a game tomorrow at 9:00 so we have to be there at 8:30, then JB has pictures at 11:00 and a game at 12:00. We will be at the ball field all day. I already have a bad attitude because it is going to be hot!

Gotta cook supper.

No Nascar Today! Well Maybe One Thing....

I remember picking up a car from Mr. George's Ford store when I had to go out into the pasture thru the tall grass and pick it up. A new Ford Mustang GT. So to all those Elliott fans...I personally think Mr. George would roll over in his grave if he knew Awesome Bill was driving anything but a Ford, don't you!

I have enjoyed all the going back and forth about Nascar but I am sure my real family would like an update on what is happening with thier grandchildren!

We are playing ball everyday.

James Brian got up early coughing, at 4:00AM, so he didn't feel like going to school. He had ball practice but didn't go because he didn't go to school. G had practice but not until 7:15. Her practice finished up about 9:00 then Brian took her to Walmart to buy a pair of shorts for her field trip to Rock Eagle today. Whew! I would have gone earlier but she didn't tell me until after school on Wednesday. Her shorts had to be appropriate length. If you know Grayce we had to follow those rules. No taking chances. Cydney, who lives life a little on the edge said just wear what you have what are they going do once you get there at 7:00 in the morning. I did like that idea.

If I went on the field trip with Cydney then Brian goes with G. I don't know what is going to happen when it is James Brians turn!

It occured to me I should clean up the den so Brian thinks I did something today but someone won't let me mess up there monster truck race track. So I will wait until he goes to school tomorrow and then he won't see me do it and he won't be mad at me. I am so smart!

James Brian and I have just done some catching up today. Haircuts, groceries, WMF, etc., etc.

We have a scrimmage game tonight. No telling how long that will last.

Brian and G should be back about 4PM. Maybe I can get out of cooking supper!

What do you call a boomerang that doesn't come back?
A stick!

NASCAR, again today!

I didn't mean to offend the Bill Elliott folks. I think he is a great guy. What I should have said was he who spends the most money wins! (his team) The pool room is Dawsonville has a mean steak! Who cares about a hotdog!

I got a comment about Jeff Gordon. He's okay. Not my favorite. I don't want him to get hurt but I don't want to see him win! Poor old I can't finish a race Robbie Gordon can't get a break. How about somebody helping him out. (Go ahead let me have it on those two comments).

I thought of someone I didn't mention. How about Jody Ridley. How many people know him. I was able to find a diecast car of Jody Ridley. My 5 year old took it but he knows it belongs to me!

It is funny how a person chooses which driver they like and they stick with it. My five year old has the a best attitude. He says he likes everybody. When someone wins I don't care for he says mom there okay.

Someone left a comment about Juan Pablo. I personally think they should pack up the open wheel drivers and send them off too! The way Montoya drives he is going to hurt someone. Michael Waltrip doesn't bother me. He does have some funny NAPA commercials and you have to give him credit for being able to make fun of himself.

Thanks for the comments. I am having fun!

boogadee, boogadee, boogadee let's go racin boys!

How Did This Turn Into A NASCAR blog??

Believe it or not we don't have anything to do again today. I can finally see the floor in my room so I am feeling good!

So today I have chosen to blog early.

I am not sure how this turned out to be a NASCAR thing but here goes....

We are in the FORD business. Fords literally put food on the table and clothes on our back. Daddy could have chosen any company I suppose. I don't know why he chose Ford but he did. I think other cars are cool. Brian and I drove a corvette for years. My favorite car was the the Jaguar Brian bought me for my birthday. I was always the underdog in school. I swear I was the only one in the world who drove a Ford product.

Just by nature we choose to cheer on the Fords. Brian sold Jason, Carl's spotter a couple of cars so James Brian got to hang out with them so naturally Carl would be his favorite. David Ragan is from Unadilla so we have to pull for him no matter what he drives it just happens to be a Ford and the Roush-Fenway team. I don't know what Reed Sorenson drives but he is from Peachtree City so we always want him to do good. Bill Elliott is from Dawsonville we want him to do good. This year I just don't think he has what it takes. Richard Petty is just the King no matter how you slice it up. Plus the Allisons and the Pearsons. There are so many good folks you just can't name them all. I love to see the older guys do good or win. I don't care what they drive.

I love NASCAR. I grew up going to Dixie Speedway every Saturday night. For James Brian to love it like he does is just the greatest thing.

I do get aggravated at how they treat JR. If he is on top that is all you hear. If he doesn't do good they will never say a word. But in all fairness how can you say he isn't good I think he is fourth in points???

I don't especially care for the Toyota product. That doesn't mean I don't care for Smoke it's just I had rather see an American made product on top.

I tell who I do think got shafted and I am glad he is doing good is Kyle. I think he is a better driver than Jr. but I guess you have to go with who brings in the big bucks. It looks like to me Teresa is probably kicking her self in the butt for the big mistake.

I loved Ryan Newman winning because his daddy was spotting for him. How cool would that be?

NASCAR is truly a family sport. I can take my children and people aren't talking ugly and carrying like they do at say the Georgia Football game. I get emotional every week over something that is shown or a story that is told.

So there you have my take on racing. I love the sport and we will continue to watch it and pull for the Fords unless we start selling something else.

Oh and on the days I am pulling for the best looking guy I think today that would be Martin Truex, Jr. Go figure!

GO FORDS!!!

for those of you wondering I am not angry this time. i say let the games begin......

Another Day Off In The Same Week?

How did that happen?

Everyone went to school today and I went to the dealership. It was nice just to piddle around. Well actually I worked on the ball schedule for over an hour. I don't want to send something home with the children that looks terrible.

There is a mountain of laundry to be put away I guess I should do it but I have found I can work out of a pile as good as I can work out of the closet! That is not true I have to go hang that stuff up!

The girls are supposed to be doing homework. G said she was going to do homework and go to bed. I hear Cydney changing radio stations and James Brian racing monster trucks. Monster Trucks are his new favorite thing. Well he still looks at the NASCARS first and then he chooses a Monster Truck. That is fine with me they are only $3.00 instead of $5.00! We are actually looking for one called Black Smith if any one finds it.

Nothing else fun today. Ball practice starts again tomorrow night. I think everyone will put on there night clothes and just hang out tonight.

GO CARL, GO CARL, GO CARL!!

Stick that in your ear you Jimmy Johnson and Dale Jr. lovers!

We are a happy bunch today. I don't know who keeps leaving the post about racing but I am enjoying it! We didn't get to watch today but we did hear the last few laps on the radio. Carl was smokin'!

We played our friends, the Johnsons, in Hawkinsville today in a softball game. We did really good. They were 11-14 years olds and we were only 9-10 years old so they were a good bit bigger. We lost but we also made some errors but is was fun and it was better than just a regular practice. The girls were really sweet and had a great attitude and were proud of themselves. Grayce pitched which makes me crazy but she enjoys it. She also got hit on the mound and hit when she got up to bat. She is a tough little thing, she just shook it off. She warned me not to ever run out on the field to check on her but she will nod and let me know she is okay.

Brian helped coach. You couldn't steal home but he got excited one time and sent somebody anyway. They had to go back but he was just being aggressive! Cydney and James Brian both went. Cydney kept the dugout in order and James Brian played on the cool playground.

Now we are home trying to get ready for tomorrow. I guess I have to work at the dealership for awhile. They make me feel needed!

We drove thru McDonalds, Krystal and Burger King for supper. Nothing like trying to make each child happy. But I figure if I want that mother of the year award I have to put in a little extra effort.

Hope everyone has a good week.

Until next time.....

Rain, Rain, Go Away, Michelle Wants to Come Out and Play

Just teasing. We are perfectly happy sitting in the house.

I just keep staring at the stuff thinking it will some how get put away or dusted or folded. But, it isn't working!

Our game had to be postponed until tomorrow. That rain they been telling us was coming finally came.

Now the Johnsons want to go and eat but I don't think I have the energy to get ready. Ellie always makes me look bad because even when she is sloppy she looks like she just stepped out of a magazine.

It is nice to just sit around and enjoy the company of my family on a rainy day. Everyone is being really sweet. Of course James Brian is playing with Jacob and the girls are each doing there own thing but no one is yelling. Not even me! Those illegal drugs are working. I don't really take drugs.

Brian went to the grocery store for me. I was so proud I don't think he bought one thing that was Kroger brand. I have store brand issues and he always buys the knock offs. Well he doesn't anymore I guess he finally got tired of my moaning about it. He did a good job though, his mom would be proud.

My sister and my mom went to see my grandmother. My mom and grandmother were going to see her brother in the hospital. My sister was taking my granddaddy somewhere she had to go and she thought he might enjoy getting out. That should be a good story for her blog. Of course it puts me to the bottom of the granddaughter ladder again.

Not much else on a rainy Saturday.

Until tomorrow.....

We Got the Night Off!

I don't think we have had a Friday night off in a while. I am actually looking forward to doing nothing. Well I always look forward to doing nothing I just don't have the opportunity very often!

Everyone is at home except Brian and he will be here shortly.

I finally finished reading that book I started 2 or 3 months ago. Now I have started on one I got for Christmas but the type is so small I have to struggle to see it.

James Brian, daddy, Brian and myself went to lunch at Red Lobster this afternoon. It isn't my favorite place but JB wanted to go there so daddy thought we should go. He filled up on bread real quick and was ready to go. He did help me eat though. He wanted to see a lobster up close but he never wants to touch it. They are kind of cute as long as there pincher things are banded.

Michael picked the girls up from school today. Not for any reason except he just wanted to show off his car. It is some kind of Mustang GT Super Snake. I don't have clue what that means. I do know it goes fast but at this point in my life the only place I need to get to fast is Dunkin Donuts and that is only sometimes. It was nice for James Brian and I not to have to rush to town. He was watching Spongebob, I think.

I don't know how to act not calling all the ball players today. I think I will call the coach and his wife just for the heck of it. They probably miss me anyway! We are suppose to scrimmage my friend David's team tomorrow in Hawkinsville. A mother just called me and said it is 100% chance of rain. Luckily 100% chance of rain in this area doesn't mean much.

Our condo building is 100% full this weekend. That is great news. That means we will get a big fat check next month!

I forgot to mention last week that James Brian, Grayce and I went to the movies Saturday after the birthday party we had to go to. I wanted to see Horton Hears a Who. Well G wanted to see Super Hero Movie because it had Drake Bell in it. It was terrible. It was rated PG13 so I knew going in it was a little edgy for us. Well Drake said ugly words. Some of you know that we are big Drake Bell fans. We went to Lithonia several months ago to see him sing at the mall. It was really fun. We got there early and were hanging over the rail. He winked at Grayce and I thought she was going to lose it. It was cute. He was cute and we got his autograph and he was so appreciative that we came. He looked me in the eye and said thank you for coming. So that made me think a lot of him because he was such a polite young man. Then he goes and says ugly words in the movie. I told G I was going to email his mom and tell her to spank him. Anyway, she thought the movie was funny. I thought it was stupid!

My friend from the 7th and 8th grade stopped by the car lot to see me yesterday. I wasn't there but Michael called and said your friend Jackie is here. I said don't let her leave I will be right there. She looked really good and it was fun to visit with her. I guess I hadn't see her in probably 22 or 23 years. I was honored that she would stop and see me. She is just as cute as she ever was. She is a little tiny blonde. The funny thing is I remember going to places like K-Mart with her and her mom. I think when we got old enough to drive we stopped "hanging out". I can't really remember. We were talking about going to class reunions and Brian and I don't go except to the Westfield alumni weekends. The person I really cared about is Dana and we are still friends today. We have been friends for 30 years and we still talk at least everyday and sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. Hopefully we are going to see each other towards the end of the month. We try to see each other about every six months.

Nothing else is happening. I will try animal planet one more time tonight. I can go to bed early and the children will stay up later but that isn't the problem. I will just fall asleep before 10:00. Sometimes I try to stay awake but then I think my life isn't going to be any better tomorrow if I stay up and watch this show so what the heck!

Until tomorrow....

Ooops, I Forgot to Post!

As much fun as I am having keeping everyone up to date I forgot to post on Thursday. So I know everyone that reads this didn't have anything to do last night! Just teasing!

Brian played golf on his off day. I thought I would fall over when he said he was playing golf. I know he hasn't played since James Brian has been born. He did good and had fun. His friends enjoyed it even though one shot 133. I asked Brian was that correct. 133. Good Grief. James Brian can do that good.

JB had ball practice at 5:45. He says he isn't playing next year it is too boring. I tried to remind him of that this year. There are 12 or 13 children on the team and they each have a turn a bat and I swear the coach throws them 20 balls and they just keep hitting. I get nuts sitting there thru that so I know it is tough on him standing out in the field waiting. Every now and then when the coach sees one of them not paying attention he throws the ball at them. That part is kind of funny. Well he doesn't actually throw the ball at them he just throws it at them!

G had practice at 7:15. We played a scrimmage game. It was pretty fun and both team coachs are good and help each team out trying to teach the girls the right way. Grayce pitched. It makes me crazy. She walked the first batter or two and the she hit her stride and struck several out. She is so cute on the mound with a big ole smile when she does good!

Cydney fell asleep on the couch about 5:00. It was kind of funny. Brian said she was snoring but I didn't notice I was alseep in the chair! HA!

Well HOS, GTG. (Husband over shoulder, got to go!) I don't text. Too much trouble.

Update later....

I Cut My Finger, Waaa, waaa, waaaa!

I cut my finger trying to pick up the knife. I am so coordinated! The bad thing is if there hadn't had been so much "stuff" piled on the stove top I wouldn't have hurt myself!

What I can't understand is how things get so junked up in just a couple of days. I cleaned the house really good this weekend. If someone could figure that out they would be rich!

Grayce and Brian are at ball practice. Cydney is playing basketball outside. I know she is only playing so she could move the car out of the way. James Brian is playing withe Jacob, again. They are at Jacobs house and he won't usually stay very long. He has been there almost 2 hours. I am going to get him. That is long enough!

We have an after school program on Wednesday at our church. Then we eat supper about 5:30. Well I knew I couldn't go tonight and sometimes we go just because they are having good supper. It was that way tonight. I just went in and picked it up and brought it home! It was good!

I still haven't gotten to watch a whole episode of Animal Cops this week. Maybe tonight. G said she was going to be early because she is tired but it is almost 8:00 and she isn't home yet!

I took some pictures at the ball park tonight. The silly man in the catchers suit is G's coach. I told him I was going to send that picture to his wife her tell her that is how he acts when she isn't around.

We play fruit basket turn over at our house normally at night. Lately G has been sleeping in my spot and I have either been sleeping in her bed or the recliner. I took that picture this morning before they got up. They are really asleep. They always end up the same way. All three of them are always facing in the same direction.

Until tomorrow.......

Monkey Joe's, What Was I Thinking??

I was so tired of hanging around the house I ask my friend Emily to go to Monkey Joe's. That was crazy. Her kids are on spring break this week and James Brian loves them so it was fun to let them play outside of our house. I had fun talking to Emily and she is really silly.

We have ball tonight. First practice at 6:00 and the next practice across town at 7:15. It won't be so bad. Brian will leave work early and help out.

It is supposed and has been supposed to rain for about 3 days now and it hasn't yet. I am sure it will wait until after ball practice to rain. Again, I can't get a break!

JB is playing with his friend Jacob and the girls are trying to get homework finished before ball practice.

And that my friends just about sums up our day! Another new episode of Animal Cops-Houston tonight. Yippee! I need to get out more don't I!

Until next time....
