Happy Mothers Day!
I got up at 4:00 to get ready to go to my friend in need! I drove thru Tornado weather and storms. It wasn't really as bad as it sounds. I was leaving at 6:00 or getting up when I woke up which just happen to be at 4:00. I tried really hard to go back to sleep but it didn't happen! So it was a blessing because I stayed about 15 minutes ahead of the bad weather. I did realize one time that the radio was announcing a tornado warning right where I was. I looked up at there they were. Three tornados spinning around in the sky. I just kept driving and they spun on away. I don't know what I would have done if it had been on the ground. God is Good!
I stayed with Dana as long as I felt I could without putting my marriage in jeopardy! Brian was a great sport. He has never taken all three children overnight and been in control. He fed them, took them to church, got them ready for school, picked up from school, got them ready for ball games, got them there on time and still has his mind left! It isn't that he is not more than capable of doing those things, I just never have let him. To me that is my job. I know that sounds old fashion but he will do anything I ask I just do my things he does his! I am proud of him. Of course now I have to think of somewhere fun to go!
I came home Monday afternoon. I would have stayed as long as she need me but if I was coming home anyway I wanted to get to there games. JB played first. I don't want to hurt his feelings but I think I had rather watch grass grow. That is so boring. I hate watching other peoples children! He is getting better and has more patience than I do. He gets good hits and sometimes gets to run the bases. Grayces game is more fun. At 10 years old they really play ball! She walked last night and she hates that. She wants to hit! We won 17-4 so you can tell that it really wasn't much of a game. They both play again on Thursday and for G it will be a little tougher but JB will be the same. I know she is pitching Thursday so I have to remind her to practice between now and then. I am sure they are going to want to go to the field tonight to see the team we beat last night play the team we play Thursday. Maybe if I keep quiet she will forget about it!
We had a good morning. We went to CFA. Anytime we eat breakfast out it encourages the children to get ready and not fuss. Cydney is driving us most of the time. She still makes me crazy but in all fairness to her she is a good driver.
Macon had terrible storms on Mothers Day but Houston County missed it. Our yard does look like a hurricane blew thru it. Brian was trying to cut the grass and quit because he was afraid a limb was going to fall on him! He wants me to blow the driveway off today but it makes me smell bad so I think I will tell him I forgot! He bought a new lawn mower, garage door opener and a chain saw all in one visit to sears last week. Now he has buyers remorse and keeps telling me he is going to take it back. I said go ahead but I am paying someone $250.00 to clean up that tree so the way I figure it you got the lawn mower for free if you do it! He is funny that way. He can buy a car and pay $35.000.00 for it and never blink and eye but if he buys something cheap like a pair of pants he will worry himself silly.
I guess thats it. Until next time.....
