Last Day of The Fair!

And not a moment too soon.

I told Brian and Daddy that I hadn't enjoyed my fair experience this year like I usually do. I think James Brian didn't feel good most of the time so that contributed to it.

Friday night we had to take James Brian to the emergency room because he was screaming in pain where they gave him a shot 36 hours before. He got some pain medicine and warm compresses and was feeling a little better Saturday morning. It took him a long time to get moving and it is the saddest thing to see him limping around.

I took him back to the doctor this morning because he had a fever last night. Something about antibotics and our strep being smarter than it used to, yadda, yadda, yadda. Anyway the doctor assures me that the penicillian last for three weeks and he will get over strep and his leg will eventually feel better.

Brian is still at the fair with the girls. They went to the Sugarland concert. I brought James Brian and Justin home to play. It was sprinkling and damp and I didn't think he needed to stay out.

I am also keeping baby Jacob while Michael and Brandi go to the concert. He is the sweetest little thing. Even sweeter knowing he is going home later tonight.

Grayce and Cydney both went to the Sugarland concert. They will be home later tonight. Michael is supposed to bring them. I am sure Michael will bring G and daddy bring Cydney.

Justin is over playing. They both are getting ready for bed so I better make sure they aren't fussing.

Until tomorrow.....

Strep throat is caused by bacteria. Bacteria are able to adapt and become resistant to certain antibiotics over time.

Thats why its always important to take the antibiotic for the duration it was prescribed, even if you start feeling better. If you stop early, you run the risk of merely having weakened the bacteria. If you don't totally kill them, they will most likely come back, this time resistant to the antibiotic you were using to treat your illness with earlier.

Overtime, the strains of a disease that you catch adapt to various antibiotics too. Thats what the doctor was talking about.

I didn't realize Chase went to medical school. I don't remember seeing him there with me!
