ANOTHER LIGHT BULB BLOWN

Strange title isn't it. It just happened to be on my mind because everytime I come in this room another bulb blows.

Softball started tonight. I had the camera in the car and forgot to take pictures. Full Force. An hour and a half in the freezing cold. I was pretty warm with my eskimo coat and gloves and blanket but my child was freezing. Cydney babysat for someone else so I had to call another babysitter for James Brian. I didn't want him out in the cold weather. It was fun for me sitting with the ladies being silly. Brian got a customer late so he didn't get there in time. Wasn't that convenient! Really he will get double duty tomorrow because we have two practices. Did I say I had missed this. It must have been at a weak moment!

Everyone went to school today. I cleaned bathrooms. Don't I have the best life! I really do choose what I want to do. I visited with Brian at the dealership for a few minutes but that place is a nut house. I was ready to go. Then daddy took James Brian and I to lunch. After that I went to Macon to buy cleats. I bought five pair of shoes and I think I am taking them all back but one.

NO EXPECTATIONS, NO DISAPPOINTMENTS!!

WHAT RYMES WITH TUESDAY?

Nothing!

After a storm this morning the rest of the day has been uneventful. Someone told me the tornado sirens went off in town but we didn't hear it. So we just kept on playing.

Grayce has a report for Spanish due tomorrow. Nothing like finishing it up the day before. It is on Rey Mysterio, who knows anything about this man except he is a wrestler.

James Brian asked me to throw the ball again. He can knock the fire out of the softball. I hope he can hit a baseball on Thursday.

I fixed Grayce mac-n-cheese for supper. She and James Brian take turns putting the cheese in the noodles, it is the velveeta kind. I handed it to him and he said he didn't want to do that part he just wanted to do the lickin' part!

Not much exciting today but I wanted to post because Brians Uncle Bobby reads this everyday and I wanted him to have something to do. We love you Uncle Bobby!

MONDAY, MONDAY

Isn't that a song, Monday, Monday.

We have had a good day. The weather here could not be any more perfect. Everyone went to school and I went to Kroger.

My new car finally came in. I know I am spoiled but it sure is nice to have something new. The children still get excited over a new car and James Brian thought it was cool that his daddy picked that car for us. I put the WMF magnets on the side again and before I got home I already lost one. It is fun having those on the car, everybody waves! Brian said those were his magnets in the garage and I told him he meant that was his magnet in the garage. I had to take one!

We thought ball started tomorrow but practice is going to be a couple of more days for G. The park had a few more girls sign up. JB has practice on Thursday. That is perfect Brian can take him. I was looking forward to it after all the time we spent at the ball field last summer I kind of miss it! 1/2 the day I have been throwing balls to James Brian. I only got hit once. I am sure I will have a big fat bruise on my leg. Oh, well. A little battle wound for the time to play with him is worth it. Actually the ball that hit me was one Cydney hit!

I had a vision this morning. I wanted to run over "that boy" in the parking lot! I didn't. I might have last week but this week I wasn't hormonally challenged today so I was able to supress the urge. I cannot be held responsible for what might happen later in the week! (If anyone reads this besides family they want know what to think and they will probably have me arrested!)

James Brian and I have been watching the races today. Carl Edwards won the cup race! Go FORD. A stinking Toyota won the Nationwide. I hate that! I don't know if I mentioned we signed up for trackpass. We got to listen to Carl and Jason talk all day. That is pretty fun. Since Carl won Brian can't give Jason a hard time this week.

I had homemade cinnamon raisin bread for breakfast. YUMMY. Thanks to Momma O!

We're HOME!

Friday---We went to Panama City Beach to see our winter renters who we have adopted as Grandparents. Since it was going to rain the entire time we took a different route. Big Mistake. It took 7 1/2 hours to get there instead of 4 1/2. Talk about being in the car too long and it was pouring down rain the whole entire time. I was grouchy because I have no since of direction and I was somewhere I didn't know. We finally got there and it was worth the drive. Momma O had supper cooked and cake and cookies and Banana Cream Pie.

Saturday--- First we started with made to order breakfast! Then the most beautiful day at the beach. The only people around were retirees. Everyone loved the children and they sucked up all the attention. We walked down the beach forever. The wind was blowing but no loud music, no trash, no drunks! The girls even got a little sun on there face. The city had smoothed the beach out from the winter and it was so easy to walk on. Again, we had supper cooked with desert! Momma O wouldn't let me do anything.

James Brian and Grayce thought they could swim. I let them stand in the pool and then I bought them a tshirts and shorts to swim in. They did get all the way wet and swam for about 30 minutes with me and Cydney sitting under a towel beside the pool!

Sunday---We didn't want to leave but had to get home. Everyone was missing Brian and the girls have work to finish up and get ready for school on Monday. We had breakfast at IHOP. I had been wanting to eat there since Texas. It wasn't as good as I remembered but it got us by! I made it all they way to Panama City and back without getting pulled over for something. I am proud of myself! YEA, ME!

Now tonight we get to watch NASCAR and listen to trackpass on the internet so we can hear everything the drivers are saying. I love racing!

Hopefully we can get a good nights rest since James Brian thinks he has to get up every morning at 6:00. You would think out of three children at least one would want to sleep late!

The other thing Cydney cooked popcorn on the stove, the old fashion way in a pan and she also used a pizza cutter for the first time. Boy my children has missed some things I never even thought about.

Apparently Cyd and that boy broke up already. I didn't really like him anyway! She says she will be fine.


Who was the first person to look at a cow and say I am going to squeeze these hangy down things are drink what comes out?

Brians Day Off

Isn't if funny how "Day Off" doesn't really mean day off. Since it has been raining most of the day Brian, James Brian and I went to Sams. That place makes me crazy. Every senior citizen that still has drivers license was there today. The best part is for $1.88 you can get the best cheese pizza and cold coke on the planet! I still don't know if it was worth the hassle!

The children and I are getting ready to go to the beach tomorrow. We are checking out of school early. We go to school sick so we can save or sick days for the beach! The Orrs can't wait to for us to arrive and I am sure it will look like a buffet when we get there, it always does!

Grayce and I finally got our nails done this afternoon. She has a little touch of OCD and they are not painted exactly right. I threatened her life if she took the polish off!

The boys are playing Playstation 3 and WII. Well, James Brian is playing Brian is watching. I wanted to play but JB told me it was a "boys night". Who allows that?

The police never think it is as funny as I do......

The Middle of The Week!

It used to be called HUMP Day. What happened to that?

We have all had a good day! Everybody went to school today. I managed to get the upstairs clean. Melissa and I said someone should event something like they put on the windshields in nascar. For the bathroom you would just rip off the top layer and it would be clean!

James Brian loves nascar so much that when he was eating his snack one of the oreo cookie tops had come off and he said look mom it lost its hood!

James Brian and I had lunch with daddy and Brian. That was a treat. We have lunch with daddy a lot on Wednesday but having Brian with us was nice.

We went to see Hayden, Marc and Lynns baby, after school he is so cute. I sure am glad it is there baby and not mine!

Now it is homework time. James Brian wanted pizza again and since he quit drinking milk he is eating everything!

Oh, we did have some excitement last night. We had a car stolen. The funny thing is they only got to the BP, maybe 500 yards! Go Perry Police!

Don't forgot about the eclipse tonight. I will probably see it on the computer tomorrow AM. Sleep is more important than an eclipse.

Slow Day, HA!

Not really slow, just slower than normal!

I had to be in Macon at 9 AM. Cydney didn't get up early enough to go to CFA so I had to fix breakfast(bad way to start the day!)
While I was in Macon Brian called with another errand. He thinks I am his personal secretary! Then to K-Mart, G only likes Joe Boxer socks. Then we spent God only know how much time trying to choose a car. We ended up with two. At that point I was willing to buy the whole toy department just to get going!
Pick up time---Cydney wanted to go see her daddy so she could "test drive" a car! G wanted to see Hayden and get her nails done. Total breakdown because we couldn't do either one!
Now we have to do homework.
Tomorrow I have to do everything that didn't get done in the last three days. It all started with me watching that silly race.
Parking in the garage lasted exactly one day. It makes me nervous pulling in there.
On top of all that they are having a boxed pizza for supper!!
The best part of the day--I read that Dog the Bounty Hunter is coming back to A&E.
I am going to win that mother of the year award!

ANOTHER SCHOOL HOLIDAY

Well, another school holiday has come and gone. We were only out of school today. It would have been nice to sleep late but at 7:00 James Brian wanted me to watch him play cars. I keep saying I am going to write a book about what people don't tell you before you have children.

I went to the auction today. I didn't buy the house. I could have and I might have missed a good deal but it was in Montezuma. I didn't especially want to keep track of a contractor in Montezuma. Plus the cell phone service isn't the best in the world.

Cydney had Kenny over today. I asked her if he called and ask could he come over and play? That is kind of creepy isn't it. What is it with these kids having to see each other every couple of days. I took there picture together. Cydney wouldn't behave in front of the camera so it is her own fault the picture is terrible.

Our friends from Canada emailed us last night just to make sure we were safe. I love them so much. I called them today. Momma O calls me love. Isn't that the sweetest thing. She said she would have supper waiting on us Friday. We can't wait to see them. Grayce is looking forward to pancakes.

Cydney just said David and Ellie looked like they were on something in the picture and then she said it looked like they were working in a meth lab. How does she know these things?

Tomorrow is back to normal. I can't believe spring break will be here soon and then summer. I look forward to my children being with me but time goes by too fast. Before long they will be gone to college. GRRRRR.........

NASCAR 08

How did we make it thru the winter months without watching NASCAR on tv. I actually sat thru the whole race. I suppose that was fine since I didn't have another thing to do! You know we wanted a Ford to win but since Ryan Newman is kind of an underdog I am happy with that. (He won).

Actually we worked so hard yesterday I needed to sit awhile! We finished cleaning the garage and I parked my car in it tonight. I forgot what that was like. I know it has been at least 5 years. In the winter it is too dark to park in there and in the summer it is too pretty outside. But since I knew it was going to rain I just pulled right in. I hope I can get out without hitting something. Brian pulled way out of the way. I don't have the best reputation at the body shop, last time I went for a new estimate and I told them who I was that all starting laughing.

The weather was kind of scary for a few minutes tonight. Can someone please explain to me why the worst weather always comes at dark?

Cydney has Jessi over and Grayce is fussing because she doesn't have anything to do. Can you believe there is nothing to do at this house? Bless her heart. James Brian and Brian are racing on the playstation 3 so I am going to read a book. Life is good....

BUSY DAYS!

I wished this thing would let me change the day. I can't post every day. So I just do the best I can!

The boys came home safe and happy Thurday night, at midnight! James Brian had to tell me everything from the moment they pulled out of the driveway until they returned home (at midnight). He did have fun and I am thankful for that! He is so different from the girls. He just jumped in the car with his daddy and waved bye. He didn't miss me. The girls would have never gone without me going! (it could have been a bad day, i made the room reservation for next month!)

Friday everyone went to school. I colored me hair again, myself, with my sister instructing me over the phone. I am sure the girls at the Rite-Aid thought I was crazy. No, I didn't color my hair at Rite-Aid but I was on the phone to Melissa discussing hair color and mixing up the right color. I was afraid it was going to be purple. That is how it started out. Which would have been okay with me. Nobody else in town has purple hair.

Friday night Brian and I went with David and Ellie to Fondue in Macon. Good Grief, I don't have time or the patience for cooking one bite of food at the time. It was fun to be with the Johnsons without the children which is rare but finally I got tired and restless and just threw the rest of my food in the boilng stuff. After three minutes I scooped it all on my plate with the "salvage spoon" and Brian and I finished it up. The desert part was fun except the milk chocolate and the dark chocolate tasted the same and I don't even like chocolate much. The biggest problem was those stupid little poky things. Poor Brian had to babysit me all night. He had to keep ducking out of the way and reminding me I was going to catch my sleeve on fire. Oh and we drove one of those high dollar Mustangs. I am too old for that. I will just keep my Expedition. I am too old to be rolling out of a little sports car!

Then we rounded all the children up and went home. Daddy and Margarett kept Cyd and James Brian. Daddy is such a good sport I know he was tired of playing by bedtime. Grayce was with her friend Katelyn.

I GOT IT GOING ON!

I have figured this blog thing out! Well, not really but it isn't that hard after all. Unfortunately I don't have too much exciting to tell.
The boys are on the way home. James Brian is expecting a present. I think he thinks Valentines Day is like Christmas. I told him I didn't have one but I would get him one tomorrow. (All the junk will be 50% off, yea me!) Don't worry, he does have a stuffed animal and some candy.
We went to Mexican again for supper. Right after school. The girls made me go! I had chinese from next door. I don't know that the mexican man loved me bringing that in, oh well.
I had my hair recolored today. Twice! She did it and it came out looking like a dirty ash tray so I went back and she added some more blonde. It still isn't trashy enough for me. The thing that really makes me angry is my sister isn't a professional and did a better job. Peggy was real sweet about it but I guess she just can't read my mind like my sister. Now I have a good excuse to go to Melissa's. I really don't need an excuse though do I?
Now my alone time had came to an end. It will probably another 14 years before that happens again! But the good thing is that is what I signed up for and what I love about life!
I hope your Valentine's Day was perfect. It is Valentine's Day everyday at our house.

Just the Girls

Well, here we are. Brian and James Brian have gone to Daytona for the race and it is just us girls. That is wierd. And Quiet.
Grayce Made me take her to Mexican for supper... I didn't really want to go. Cydney went to Ichiban with her girlfriends. Brian says I let her run wild. She went with Katie and Jennifer, how wild can that be?
The house is lonely without the boys. I only use Brian for his abilities to lock up the house at night. Tonight I have to do it. I hope I remember how!
I should be soaking in the tub and reading a book instead of playing on the computer, huh! I hear the hot water calling my name.

FLU Day, YUK!

Well, it has happened! The Flu is at our house! Cydney was getting sick on Friday night but between the silly boy and the fall festival in Febuary she didn't want to go the the doctor. Now she is sick! She even has a pass to miss school for two days! What did I do to deserve that, huh! Hopefully I can pray the rest of the family thru and we won't get sick!
Grayce isn't real happy Cydney gets to miss school.
I worked at the warehouse again today. 10,000 square feet of "stuff" and I pick up the box with the lizard attached. Why Me?? He was cute, though.
James Brian went to Monkey Joe's today with his friend from school. Now he is so ill. I am glad he had fun but is it too early for bed at 5:00? Not for him, for me!

Sunshine Day!

I love winter. It's my favorite season. In the winter you can always get warm but in the summer in Georgia you can never get cool! But today I missed the lake and the ocean! The children spent the day riding 4 wheelers. I spent the day cleaning the warehouse. I did see the jet skis though so now I want to go ride those! I really wanted to be like a child and just go sit on them and go vroooommmm, vroooommmm, but I was afraid someone would see me.

Yesterday we went to the Winter Games at our school. We got there early to set up, because I am a room mother and James Brian saw a cake he wanted at the cake walk. It was so funny. I could have had the same cake made for less money that we spent in tickets trying to win that dang cake! He finally won it! The worst part is, he doesn't like the way it taste!

Cydney has been feeling yukky today. She finally perked up when I told her unless she had a fever she was going to school.

Well I hear the music to the movie Dirty Dancing so I have to be finished.

Friday Again!

Okay, I will try this blog thing again. I actually tried it for a day last week but got mad because my sisters, Melissa and our friend Nicole, was so much better than mine I deleted it! I have had a boring day and deceided I would try it again so my family can keep up with us! Except I don't think I can carry the camera around everywhere like Melissa and Nicole do! I guess we know who does work around here don't we!
Cydney has that boy over again. He is nice but I still haven't seen his credit bureau. I guess I will get that next week. Cydney asked him last week did I ask him 20 questions and he said no 43. Isn't that cute that he kept count!
I think we have to go to the basketball game tonight. Yipee! I hate ball games. If Meerkat Manor was new we would have a big problem.
