I am a field trip Junkie!

James Brian with a black bear behind him. It was so cute. It stood up on it hind legs. It probably thought we had food!

James Brian and his friend Sam. See that turtle coming out of his hole.

JB got to pet a snake? Do you call it petting a snake?

That man is holding a screech owl. He was a cute little thing. They aren't very loud because something bigger might eat them.

JB in front of the black rhino. Black Rhinos aren't really black!

I am not really field trip junkie, I hate field trips but this was a good one today.

James Brian and I went to the Parks at Chehaw. It is near Albany, about an hour and 15 minutes away. It was different than the Atlanta Zoo. They had a black Rhino, and cougars and several animals that you don't see in Atlanta. Last week each child had to do a project on the animal they picked out of the hat. JB's was the black rhino. He was so excited to see a real one today. I was impressed myself. I was more excited about the meerkat exhibit they are getting. You know I love those things and no zoos in the southeast have them. So I will be going back!

We have had a busy week.

Monday Cydney had a soccer game in Albany. They lost 15-0. How do you score 15 points in soccer? I ask her if they scored a touchdown. She is starting to not like soccer. Apparently her team mates don't care if they win or not and it makes her mad.

Tuesday we had a soccer game in Macon. Zach went with us. He drove and I rode in the back with the little ones. It was nice being chauffeured around!

I went to curves one day this week. I worked Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday daddy needed to go the the credit union to pay for a car. I was being sweet and said daddy can I take that for you, thinking he would so no, I'll do it, guess what he said sure you can. GRRR! So I went to Warner Robins and before I left there Brian called and ask me to go to Byron to pick up a part and before I left there Brian called again and ask me to go to Macon to pick up another part. On top of that I had to pay for the parts myself(they gave me my money back). I don't love being errand girl. It did keep us from paying someone else to do it and I got lunch out of it!

I have a terrible cold. Brian is getting sick but our schedule will not allow us to be sick so we just keep taking OTC drugs and keep pushing on. Each time we take something we tell the other person what we took in case something happens they'll know what to tell the doctor!

Grayce is at softball practice. Cydney had soccer but she is now at the dealership "test driving cars". She will be 16 on Saturday and we have to make a decision about a car. This morning JB and I needed to leave a little early so Brian was going to take the girls. Then I realized Cyd won't be riding with me too many more days so I went back and told her to get up and hurry up. She didn't have many days left with me and I wasn't giving up this one. Needless to say she rolled her eyes at me and rolled over.

We have two ball games Thursday and two on Friday. We are taking Cydney out for her birthday on Saturday after she plays softball in a tournament in Crawford County. Gee, see what I am talking about. I would like to just sit and bed and be sick and enjoy it. Not really, I can be sick when I am dead!

Oh, by the way, the wheels are still on at the carlot but keep praying for us. The car business is a terrible profession to be in right now.

Oh yea, they had a zebra I just didn't take his picture. You seen one zebra you seen em all. I will change the background tomorrow before my sister fusses. It sort of makes your eyes go goofy when your trying to read!

Happy Birthday to my Mom!

Zach and Cydney

Cydney, Chelce, Jessica and Anna

The girls again.

All the sophomore servers.
David James(my friend David's son, Cydney, Alex(she went to homecoming with him,
Jessica(this girl has been her best friend since birth), Bryce, Anna, Chelce, Stuart.

I know how old she is but I promised I wouldn't tell! At this point in life who cares anymore, huh!

Well our crazy weekend has almost come to an end. I went to school yesterday at least four times and the children didn't even have school. I went to take pictures at 6:00, film the dance at 10:15 back to pick her up at 11:15, oops thats only three times!

Cydneys boyfriend had ask a girl to the prom back in December. Well, she has a boyfriend too but they still went to the prom together. Zach and Cydney have only been going out about a month. Anyway, Cydney was a little down about him taking another girl but I ask her what happen once they got there...he danced with Cyd and the other girl sat in the corner all night. Isn't that funny, I know its mean but she could have said since you have a girlfriend I won't go, but I do suspect she had already bought a dress, yayayaya!

Everyone is too tired to do much today. James Brian has been doing make up school work for a little while. Brian, JB and I watched the race. Grayce just does her thing and Cydney finished her Joshuas law for her drivers license. I am so glad that is over. Brian is cutting the grass and I have snuck up to the computer!

What about Carl. I was scared for a second until I saw him get out of the car. Then he had to do the Ricky Bobby thing, that was cute. If he would have won Jr would have fussed about the way Carl handled it.

We went to church and Sunday school. I cooked lunch and did laundry. CSI:Miami is on but I have a new favorite show. Exterminators. It is a bug man in Louisiana. It is silly but Billy is kind of cute so I watch it just to see his funky hair. I ask Brian why didn't he do his hair that way and he didn't even respond so I will take that as a no!

Good Grief it's hot already!

Cydney left before 9:00 this morning for sophomore server practice. Brian took her. Thank goodness. I was able to sleep until 6:00! She was having lunch out, getting her nails done, fixing her hair at her friends. You know all the fun girl stuff. She told me she was going to a party after the prom and I had to tell her no she wasn't. I am going to take pictures at 6:00 and then back at 10:00 to watch her dance and then back again at midnight to pick her up. My friend Alan, the sheriffs deputy, is working at the prom. I can keep check on her and she won't know it until she reads this blog next week. Go Me!!

Grayce played in a ball game at 11:00 and then another right after that. The other team, visitors, batted first. We thought we might be in trouble. Nope. We wore them out. Grayce pitched. It was ugly. Finally in the second game after their pitcher walked about 8 girls in a row we just said, okay three outs. G's coach Robert coached the game, Brian helped but he also did bat boy and dugout mom. It was funny because I kept yelling at him!

Then when it was their time to bat, we kept getting them out and the umpire would say okay no outs, batter up. That at least gave their players all a turn to hit.

I got some sun, which is a good thing. I greased my children up this time so I don't have to listen to the sunscreen nazi!

Justin came home from the ball field with us. His sister is playing in the tournament that Grayce turned down. It is miserable to sit in the hot sun and watch 4 softball games in a row. Both boys are happy little ducks playing cars and watching nickelodean.

Enjoy your day! I am going to!

Sunshine Day!

Today has been absolutely beautiful! I could have not hand picked a more beautiful day! With that said, I don't know what I am going to do when summer gets here. I am hot already! Yes, I do know what I will do, run the air like crazy! It was nice to ride with the windows down. The car I am driving has a sunroof but I usually have too much junk in the car to open it, stuff starts flying out the window, hitting me in the face, you know the drill.

Grayce was asked to play in a tournament tomorrow. 3 games tomorrow, 4 on Sunday. I let her decide but thank the Lord she said no! She still has one game at 11:00 at home, we don't have to travel. Cydneys coach just called and asked if she wanted to play in a tournament tomorrow, she said no!

Last night I was feeling like I was getting a cold, so I took this medicine the doctor had given G. It cost, after insurance either 60 or 65 dollars. So someone in this house needs to take it. Well, it kicked my butt. I finally got over it late this afternoon. I had weird dreams, it made my stomach hurt, I went lala about 7:30. The worse part is I had given it to JB Tuesday morning to stop his cough no wonder he didn't feel good. I am throwing it away, I don't care how much it cost.

In my drug induced coma this morning I went to curves. Then I went to buy JB's graduation outfit. His tie is so cute I almost cried in Belks. He is excited and wants to wear it to church Sunday. I started to work at the carlot but I couldn't get settled. After curves on Monday I am going to take it serious and get it finished. It isn't going to take as long as I thought but sitting on the showroom floor isn't going to work, I am too nosey! I know that is hard to believe!

Cyd is at soccer, Grayce is doing something outside and I picked Justin up on the way home. Those two boys can't get through a weekend without each other. Zach is picking Cyd up after soccer and then taking her back to school for sophomore server practice. Then I guess he will be there to pick her up. It is nice have my own step and fetch it. Don't get excited I know whats going on. I already found out who is working the prom so I can keep digs on her tomorrow night. I am always one step ahead of her, or so I think, and try to be! The truth is I do a lot of praying over and for my children. That is all I can do, I have to leave the rest up to God!

This morning when I put the stuff in the car someone had marked all over the windows with red and green shoe polish(or window pens). Cydney, because she is a sophomore server, got in on the jr/sr wars. So our car got tagged. It was cute. It didn't bother me. I was proud someone thought enough of her to include her. Brian was fussing. But you know how he is.

I guess I will go try to find something for supper. Tonight sounds like a good night to go to Mexican doesn't it!

Sick children are messing up my Chi!!

My friend Shannon uses that word...I looked it up....it means energy! I tried really hard to get James Brian to go to school but as he was laying on the couch this morning and I was trying to feed him, he was shaking so bad I had to say never mind.

Brian was off today, so I went to exersise while he stayed with JB. Then before I was finished at curves he called to tell me they had sold his truck. So I went to pick him up at the clean up shop, dropped him off at WMF, got JB a cheesburger and then G called to tell me she was sick. I picked her up and now we are home.

I can't get anything done with them here. I don't know why it messes me up but it just janks up my schedule. I had already made JB a hair cut appointment for 3:45 so we are going back out to that no matter what. He is feeling better but he hasn't ate good and I know that was part of the problem this AM. I still think he had a little bit of a fever. Brian hasn't come home yet and he just told me to call him and tell him that "I know I am sick but since daddy is off he should be home with me". Brian is trying to make something happen today so he might be home at 9:00 tonight! However long it takes to make something happen!

G is in her room playing on the computer. I am just ambling around.

JB has to have a tie for graduation. I guess I have to go find that somewhere tomorrow.

Cydney had a powder puff football game yesterday during school, soccer practice, softball practice and sophomore server practice. She is worn out. I know she will be glad when all this is over. Today she only has soccer and sophomore server practice. In between that she wants to go to the carlot and drive a car Brian has found for her, before she decides if she wants it or not. She will be 16 on May 2nd. She wants an Escape, I want her to have a government issued hummer. Theres another chapter for my book.

When I got in the car from curves. I had the cutest message on my phone. James Brians PE teacher, Ms. Wendy, had called my cell phone looking for him and all the children sang we miss you on the message. It was so cute. That's why I love that school!

I guess I can go find some clothes to hang up. Yippee!! I was just thinking how glad I am I don't have any more over night field trip commitments!

Sick Children, Grrr!

The best part of being a stay at home mom is being able to stay up with your children all night and know that the next day you can rest if you need too!

I haven't had to stay up all night without sleep but for the last couple of nights I have been up and down. Getting medicine, adjusting the air, making sure everyone is breathing correctly!

Neither Grayce or JB felt good Tuesday. G couldn't miss school because they have some big test this week. I checked James Brian out at 9:00 for a doctors appointment. He must just have allergies but he tends to be a little asthmatic so I always take him to the doctor when he starts to cough. After the bakery and steak n shake he didn't feel like going back to school. G had an appointment at 4:00 for recheck on her mono and she also has a bad cold. So I spent all day back and forth to the doctors. Cydney had her soccer game in Thomasville, I originally said Tifton. It was two hours and twenty minutes away. She got home after 10 last night.

JB didn't feel like going to school today. We just ran some errands and he has layed around all day. I should be working but I guess I will get to it next week! At some point he has to have dress pants and a dress shirt for graduation. He has Sunday clothes but he doesn't really wear that kind of stuff to church.

Cydney had soccer after school and she has softball practice at 5:30 and sophomore server practice at 6:00. I guess I will get the magic wand out to get to all those places in at the right time!

The picture is James Brian playing with Justin at the ball field on Saturday. Look how Justin sits on the ground but JB won't get dirty. One day this week he spilled ketchup on his shirt at school and as soon as I picked him up he said I need a new shirt as soon as I get home. He is just like his granddaddy and great granddaddy Morris. That kind of scares me!

My sister the sunscreen Nazi!

She yelled at me for letting JB get sunburned. He actually isn't sunburned, well, yes he is, anyway she is a sad sack who doesn't even let her kids get pink. The funny thing is when they do get pink they are whining about it. So, as much as I would like to think she is just protecting them the truth is she just doesn't want to hear them whinning!

I do have to give her credit for not ever letting her kids get sun. Me, I don't let mine get pink at the beach it is at home at ball games and such I forget the sunscreen. Anyway, one time every spring and then I am set to go.

My friend Karen used to tell me I was the only person in the world that went to the beach and came back with no sun!

I finally made it to curves. After I redressed I went to work at the carlot. I only stayed two hours. I didn't get mad I am just in a funk today. I don't feel like working, I don't feel like cleaning I just feel like doing nothing. So that is what I am doing!

Tomorrow I will wake up and start all over and I will deciede tonight how much I am going to get done tomorrow!

We don't have any games all week. We will have practice at some point but I don't have to hang around for that. Cydney has soccer after school today and after soccer she has sophomore server practice. She will be home around 8:00. Thats a long day. Tomorrow Cyd has soccer at Brookwood which is in Tifton. I am not going. It is just too far and then I would have to foster out the other two and I just can't do it this time.

I am running out of things to mumble about. Enjoy the beautiful sunshine!

We picked up right where we left off!

Saturday we had three softball games and sophomore server practice. I know whats a sophomore server...the juniors voted for the which sophomores they wanted to help at the prom. Cydney got chosen. I think that is a good thing.

Cydney actually didn't have enough girls to play so they lost there game by forfeit. Grayce lost both her games just because they played terrible.

Today we went to Sunday school and church. Several weeks ago my magic wand went off in Sunday school class. It is a little wand my friend Shannon gave me because so many people think I have the ability to just poof and something appear. Well I kicked my purse and something in it hit the wand and it dinged in class. Well today I forgot to take my phone out of my purse and someone text me right in Sunday school class. It was a little embarrassing but it made everyone laugh and that's what I am here for!

Cyd had another softball game at 2:00. The other team didn't have enough girls so it was a forfeit. That means they won! At this point we will take a win however we can get it. Grayce had a game at 3:30, they won. Just barely. G got to pitch. First time this year. She did great.

Justin is playing for a little while and Cyd is at Zachs for a couple of hours. I am not sure how I feel about it but I hope that I am doing the right thing. We have had lots of talks and she knows how I feel and what is biblically correct. We, as a family, have to just keep praying for our children.

Brian is grilling for us.

I let James Brian get sunburned on his neck yesterday. I hate when that happens. I didn't even think about sunscreen in April when it was 40 degrees in the morning.

They won't admit it but I know my children are tired. So, with any luck I can get them to bed on time. CSI:Miami is on for hours tonight!

I am looking forward to going to curves tomorrow. I haven't been in two weeks(spring break, field trip). I didn't think it was working but on our trip every adult was complaining because they were tired and their muscles hurt. I was not tired and didn't have any aches or pains. Go me!

The wheels have ran off!

We are finally home. You know its a long trip when the children say they were never so happy to see the school!

I am so confused I hardly know what day of the week it is.

Daddy and I used a saying "the wheels ran off". When I worked all the time and daddy would occasionally go out of town he would call and ask if the wheels had ran off yet. Well, when I got back this afternoon and called him and told him I was in town we both agreed the wheels had finally ran off! But he did tell me he could at least see them being put on tighter today. What that means is Wednesday we had a terrible day at work, I was at the Okefenokee swamp and couldn't be reached by phone. I also wasn't around to give moral support to the family, Thursday wasn't much better, I still wasn't around. Friday, this morning Brian had to go on the field trip with James Brian, (he didn't have to, he wanted to) Cydney woke up with a sinus infection. Margarett had to rearrange her schedule to take her to the doctor. I was still at Epworth.

Now I am at home...it has been a long three days.

We left the house before 6:00 on Wednesday. We drove straight to the Okefenokee swamp. I was disappointed. We apparently went to the wrong side and it wasn't as swampy as I expected. This summer I would like to go to the other side. The people that had been there said it was a lot better. We rode around on a charter bus. Saw a few alligators. Everyone went canoeing but me. I started, I got in the boat. But it was a two person canoe. A child didn't have a partner, I was nice and said he could ride with us(I had already found a man partner so I wouldn't have to row, I am smart that way). I had to sit on the bottom and it was too rocky so I said this isn't going to work take me back to shore. It worked out better that way because Deen, my partner was afraid he was going to hit me with the paddle and turn us over. One boat did dump over. The first field trip ever for our school to turn someone over. Remember there are alligators in that water. He didn't panic though. He grabbed the child and sat him in another canoe. Turned his over and carried it to shore and dumped the water out. Got back in picked up his child and kept going. I hated that I didn't see it.

Yesterday we went to Cumberland Island. It really is beautiful. John Kennedy Jr got married there, that was the coolest part. Actually the coolest part is the history and the wild horses. We only saw about 1/4 of the island. We walked 4 miles around. If you haven't seen it you really should go one time. One side is total marsh, one side is total sand dunes, one side is beach and one side is maritime forest. Last night the children dissected a squid. That was gross and smelled. Then after supper they had a dance which they all enjoyed. I think it was meant to wear them out but it only hyped them up! I don't know when our girls went to sleep. About 12:00 I shut our door and told them I didn't care how long they stayed up they just better not whine today.

This morning, right after breakfast, the children dissected shark. That was the best part. Some of the sharks had other sharks in the stomach. Grayce's had the skeleton of a fish another childs had a big huge fish.

Now we are finally home. Cydney is feeling really bad. I knew she didn't feel good when she didn't argue about going to the doctor. James Brian has stayed at work with his dad until 9:30 or later this week. He was really glad to see me. Zach is over taking care of Cydney and I am washing up all our stuff. That cabin is yikky!

We have 3 softball games tomorrow and one Sunday. I am going to enjoy my night off, washing clothes or not! Watch some good tv and lay down in my nice comfy clean bed that sits on my nice clean carpet. In my good smelling house! Oh, with my nice cold air running. Isn't it funny how some things make you appreciate others!

The picture of Grayce in front of the water, if you look close you can see an alligator swimming behind her, that is where they dumped the canoe.

The picture of all the children on the dock, if you look at the bottom in the marsh you can see another alligator.

Packed Up and Ready To Go

Well packed but certainly not ready to go.

The dealership is crazy, but I couldn't do anything if I stayed. I did get out the things I needed to today. Matter of fact I made a mental note that I accomplished everything on to do list today. (it was shorter than normal!)

Luckily Cydneys soccer games, two of them, both got cancelled this week, that makes me feel a little better about leaving. Brian is still going to Rock Ranch on Friday with JB. I know he doesn't mind going but I want to go. After the slow week last week we have at least two softball games Saturday and one Sunday. I haven't received the other teams make up list yet.

Keep me in your prayers. I have to spend the night at Epworth again!

Monday, April 13, 2009

It's raining, again!

If I didn't know better, because it tells me in the Bible, I would guess that I needed to built an ark!

Since it is raining and yikky outside I thought I would have visions of being on the nice warm beach and the sun shining in my face, since I DIDN"T GET TO DO THAT LAST WEEK!! (if it looks like I am yelling, I am!)

Happy Easter!

He is not here, He has risen, Just as He said! Matthew 28:6

What a beautiful day!

We did a terrible thing today....we skipped church and on Easter Sunday. I don't think I have ever missed Easter Sunday. At least not as long as I can remember. Our church is really crowded on Easter with all the people who never come to church except Easter, so I just made the executive decision to stay home.

Melissa and Mom went to Aunt Peggy's for lunch. Lissy will hop right back on the top of the granddaughter and niece list until I can get up there and straighten it out. Grand momma might be aggravated at her because she let Annie go with Ricky to his grandmothers so Melissa might have gotten in trouble.

Margarett called last night and ask us to come for lunch after church and then at 8:00 this morning she said they weren't going to church either, daddy is sick, but we would still eat. Marc brought Hayden and James Brian showed him how to hunt Easter eggs. Michael brought Jacob and Hayden cared more about "the baby" than he did the eggs.

Of course, it would have been more fun with Melissa and Eric there!

Grayce and I went to the dealership last night so I could finish up the statement. It has to be in by the 10Th business day or Ford won't accept it. That is/was such a relief to get that finished. That will allow me get our stuff ready for our trip Wednesday without being under pressure!

I think I mentioned we had to have a new air conditioner upstairs. They installed it they day before we left to go to PCB or right around there, anyway, something is wrong with that stupid thing and it isn't cooling. Luckily it wasn't too hot and they will fix it first thing tomorrow but it is aggravating for it not to work. I don't normally open windows because of dust and pollen and asthma but I took a chance and did yesterday. It was nice to hear the crickets in the night and the birds this morning. Don't get me wrong, I still love the cold air!!

Guess who just got here....Zach! I think JB is happier to see him than Cydney. Brian is cutting grass at the warehouse. They are supposed to go to the ball field this evening. I would hate for a Sunday to come and go without throwing a ball. It is bad enough today with no NASCAR!

P.S. yes, Cydneys teeth are green, she got into the fun dip candy!

Home Sweet Home, Really!

I have said before I love to make plans to go on vacation but I don't really want to go.

I am a home body. I enjoy staying right here in the comforts of my home and town where my friends are! I miss my house!

We got home about 4:40, stopped at the dealership for the children to see their daddy, dropped Kayla off and ran home got ready and went to Hawkinsville to the Johnson's house. My very good friend David (and Ellie) lost his dad on Wednesday morning. We needed to go see them. I am not a funeral person, my great aunt is, (Kelly, you know who I am talking about, Aunt Dot) she goes to the funeral home like most people go to Walmart or the grocery store. I don't even think she has to know them she just goes for the fun, oooh wrong word, of it, so I figured if I went to the house I didn't have to go to the funeral today.

Then we went to Cochran for supper at the Mexican restaurant. It was terrible. Brian didn't want to go, they stuck us in the back, then I think they forgot about us, it took for ever to get our food and then it wasn't that great because we had already filled up on chips and salsa.

I have been to town four times already. Once to swap cars, they have a customer on the one I was driving, second time to the bank, the third time to pick up Justin and the fourth time to take the laundry. Don't ask me why I couldn't do it at the same time. The coins were too heavy to keep swapping from car to car, Justin wasn't home yet and I forgot the laundry. Then I realized I could take it on Monday but I need it back on Monday because Brian need clothes to wear next week!

Now Cydney has gone to visit Jessica, Grayce is watching CSI, I finally got her interested and James Brian is doing guess what....playing with Justin. I am back to doing what I do best.... laundry!

It is going to be a tough week next week after being so lazy this week. I guess that is all. Melissa hates in when I just ramble!!

Why am I the only one who can't sleep late?

I should be packing but I don't want to make too much noise! The children need to sleep but it is late to me already. I made myself stay in the bed until James Brian woke up. I was wide awake at 4:00! It was allnight of George Lopez on Nick at night! I didn't like that show when it was on regular tv and then Melissa told me why he was always mean to his mom so now I like it.

Yesterday we went to St Andrews Park, James Brian, Grayce and I. Not much to do there but we were still out of the house!

Zach came by last night for about 30 minutes. Cydney wanted to ride so his friends dropped him off and then we took him back. I drove, he rode up front with me and Cydney had to sit in the back. I wasn't in the mood. Zach said it was a little akward with me driving. I ask him did he ever think when he was in PCB the girls in the car with him would be a mom and two twelve year olds! And a little boy.

The only pictures I have taken are with my camera phone. I still can't figure out how to get them to the computer so I will get Brian to do it later.

Wednesday, April 8, 2009

I have run out of things to do....

We have shopped, ate lunch out with my friend Jaimi and her kids. Shopped some more. Stopped at Alvins Island to see the alligators. Went to Kmart to buy board games, played uno until the cards are worn out. Road down the strip, saw boobs, not even pretty ones, ate a hot dog for breakfast. Washed all the clothes up, I even tried to wash Kaylas. Now James Brian is bored and wants to go ride around. I think he is sleepy!

It is a little warmer today. It is going to be 65 buy 3:00, oh joy. Still to cold to swim, maybe someone will at least walk down the beach with me. I have my clothes packed up already but the girls don't seem to moving real fast. We aren't planning to leave until in the morning and Cydney said she would just stay with strangers. I don't know why you would want to stay and sit inside all day.

Well, I have to find JB something to do before his sisters kill him.

Tuesday, April 7, 2009

This is crazy!

I am willing to bet that it is colder today and the last few days than average in the months of December and January.

We are just sitting around playing cards and eating. I have a pass for curves and I should have gone this morning but I just didn't get to it yet. We are meeting my friend Jaimi later and I don't know what else yet. I like to have a plan. I am more organized than sitting around watching tv. (Dana you know I am stop laughing!)

We might go back to Pier Point but it is a strip mall and its too cold to walk outside. Theres a theatre here but I bet I couldn't get everyone to agree on a movie. It is too cold for putt-putt. I am just enjoying this quality time with my children.

Cydney is making me ride down that stupid strip at night. We all have our coats on and the windows rolled up. How cool am I? I even walked on the beach yesterday in sweatpants and a coat. I know those teenagers were thinking I don't care if I do get old and have kids I would never walk on the beach with a coat on. Who cares! I was warm.

I have realized that teenagers have some alien call. One person yells wooop and everyone else yells. Then someone blows a horn, they all yell. They all walk down the side of the road, right on the edge. I want to open the door and knock someone over and go ooops I dropped my pencil.

I told Cydney it is fine when your 18 but not when your 15, lets go to the room. We still road for 2 hours. It takes that long to go from point a to point b!

We are going to find something to do!

Oh, I can't figure out how to get my pictures off my camera.....

FREEZING!

We finally made it to PCB!

Gee, I was pretty smart, I thought. I printed out directions from Rand-Mcnally, I borrowed a GPS from the dealership and I actually know how to get here from home all by myself. Of course I did have to follow hand written directions the first 300 times I came. Anyway, I started out going the way I know. Then I went by the paper directions, missed a road and then let the GPS takeover. I was doing really good avoiding all the flooded roads. Then it happened I went about 15 miles down "river road", the name should have given it away. I have 1.2 miles to go before my turn and bam! water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink. So I just turned around and started going another way and the GPS directed me which way. I finally got off of I-10 and then another flooded road. I made it in less than 6 hours. I only drove about 2 hours around water. It was nice not going the same old way and the children were really sweet. They played playstation and watched movies.

But I did get a lesson in Wrestling. Brian buys them these video games. Grayce was playing one and said she could have a fantasy match, where the girls play in underwear and hit each other with pillows or she could have a bra and panty match or she could play the one where they try to rip each others clothes off. Brian and I are going to have to talk about that.

Now I have ridden down the strip. I am too old to be crusin'. We have eaten KFC, went swimming and now they want to ride some more. It is my bedtime. I am going to ride for a minute and then we are coming back. Oh, and went shopping at Target!

I hope the sun will shine tomorrow. Today it is rainy and chilly. The red flags are flying so you can't get in the ocean. It is too cold for that anyway but it is fun to walk in the water.

I don't remember an empty Saturday in a while

Here we sit with nothing to do. Well we do have ball practice at 2:00 and I should be packing but I am just enjoying doing nothing right this minute.

The girls got to Panama City Beach about midnight and couldn't get into the room. The key wouldn't work. I changed rental companies and couldn't without giving the other rental company 60 days notice. It is a big mess. It is 1:00 and they don't have a key that works yet. The management company did come lock them out so they could go to the store. Hopefully it will all be worked out by the time I get there.

I guess we will leave in the morning. G does't really want to go. She wants to swim but I think it will just be too cold. I will let her try. I will be warm sitting on the side. I don't hardly swim in that ice box swimming pool in the middle of July.

The roads are still flooded so I am going to try a different way. I may end up in Daytona. I am not the best at following directions.

Justin and JB are playing. I hate to interupt them to take G to practice but they will be alright. They play so good together.

I better go do something productive. If not I will just be mad at myself tonight when I haven't accomplished anything.

Friday and the start of Sping Break!

I am so glad this week is over.

We are still trying to recover from the audit. Luckily it the weekend. Pray we sell some cars!

They put our new air conditioner in this morning. The old one has to have $1200.00 worth of parts and it was 10 years old so it made better sense to Brian to replace the whole thing. They had to put a bigger return so they janked up my carpet. It isn't bad it just has dust stuff all over it. To be honest the men did a great job of cleaning up after themselves.

I went to exercise. I did so good I got a pass so I could go while I am at the beach. Maybe we can just walk the beach. The children usually enjoy that.

Then I went to James Brians easter egg hunt at school. You been to one egg hunt you been to them all. I needed pictures for him though so I went anyway. (I get the good mother award today!)

Margarett took Cydney to the beach this afternoon. It is taking them extra long because of the flooding. We were going to leave tomorrow but to be honest if I can talk them out of it I had just soon stay home. The high in Panama City one day is only going to be 55. It will be warmer than that here.

Justin and Hannah were both here playing. We went to meet daddy at mexican and then took Hannah home. Justin is still playing and I just realized CSI:Miami is on and I am missing it. Hmp!

I guess I will go do something else. I hear Brian banging in the kitchen. My new book got here yesterday so I guess I will go read. Flywheel. It is about a used car dealer. How wierd am I. It is by the same people who wrote fireproof!

Another Audit??

This isn't a very good way to start off the year.

Ford Credit came for a floor plan audit today. We did great no violations but it is really stressful. I was just having a grand morning. I went to curves early because no one was there(the rain I guess), then I came home and was trying to decide to go in and work or wait until after spring break. Brian PINed me, something my new phone does, we don't actually have to talk!, and said they were there. Then Margarett called and said I need you to hold my hand. So, I jumped in the car and went to town to sit around and supervise for the next 5 hours!

The lady was really nice but she also has a job to do. You have to prove where the car is and why it isn't paid for and who is buying and and when they are paying. Then if the car has been off the lot too long you have to pay for it. That can add up to a lot of money real quick. Ford Credit doesn't play games with there money and I can't be mad about it.

We finally got a call about 2:00 that the soccer game in Albany had been canceled. Then I got a call about 4:00 that softball was canceled. That allowed us to have the night off.

We separated the coins from Brians coke machine. The bank will roll them but they have to be separated. Its crazy but we all sit down in the floor and sort. We even got Zach involved this time. Of course I had to promise to take Cyd to chick fil a for breakfast!

Cydney and Margarett and Kayla leave for Panama City tomorrow after school. I don't think we are going until Saturday or Sunday. The children are out all week and then on Monday. I was going to come home early but if we are out on Monday then we can rest and get our suitcases cleaned out on Sunday night. I hate to miss my Church and the Easter Bunny on Sunday. I guess I will just see what happens. I guess it depends if I get home sick or not!

When we get home I have Monday and Tuesday then Wednesday we leave for that prison, Epworth again for a school field trip. Luckily we will be so busy we will go straight to sleep. I hope so because this time I know I will have to sleep on a bunk bed and that might just push me over the edge.

I have to find my children something for supper now. Enjoy the rain!

I am having a better day today.

Well no catastrophes. Of course it isn't even lunch yet.

I finally went to curves this week. To get all my time in I have to go three days in a row. I feel better about life when I am finished but by Friday I will be grouchy over some exercise!

Last night we had the night off because of the rain. It looks like that is going to happen today also. Cyd has a soccer game in Albany again tomorrow but the flooding is so bad there they called school off so hopefully they will go ahead and cancel the game!

Our friends the Orrs came to town Monday morning. We didn't do much exciting but we did sit around and visit. They are so much fun. Their grandchildren live 3000 miles from them so they think we are their children. They both went to softball with us Monday night. I cooked supper for them and waited on them and they let me! They had to leave early Tuesday morning something about the Canadian laws and being in the states with insurance, yayaya. Grayce said we didn't get to see them enough. I had almost changed my mind about going to Canada over summer vacation but I think we have to go if there is any way possible. They did say they would meet us where ever but I think it is important to them. They want us to meet there friends and take us to all these historical places in Canada.

Mrs. Orr, who the children called momma O baked me two loaves of bread and James Brian some chocolate chip cookies.

I am working from home today. I printed a bunch of stuff and brought it home yesterday. I don't really have a desk or a computer at the dealership anymore. Well this just isn't working. I have to keep calling to ask questions. Michael is having the computer program put on my laptop and I am just going to sit on the showroom at a salesperson desk. That will be better anyway because I can see everyone that comes in. I am nosy that way!

Gotta go to work!
