I am surprised it took this long really. Cydney knows if she is late to school she loses her driving privileges. She has been getting up good and getting totally ready before she leaves(with me she throws her clothes on and finishes up on the way to school). Today Grayce couldn't find her shoes, I had already left and my phone was on silent so no one could get me to answer the phone. Finally she wore another pair of shoes and I think they just got in under the wire at school. I am sure G will be riding with me in the morning!
Cydney had a softball game on Monday, they lost. Grayce had a game last night, they won. We got home at a decent time and there is nothing else to tell about that!
Cydney told me this morning she guessed she would play all stars(softball)! You have to be asked and that is the team Grayce has went to LA and TX to play on. I don't know about G yet. The state tournament is in Perry this year so we wouldn't have to travel and the World Series is either in North or South Carolina and both girls if they both went to the World Series would be at the same place. Wouldn't that be neat!
The softball coach at school came to Cydney and made her sign up for the school team. Coach Brooker said she needed a third baseman. That is so exciting and so good for Cydney to never have played at school and the varsity coach hunt you down and make you sign up. She is a good athlete but doesn't want to put the time in to practice. In the past the school has expected you to work out in the weight room all summer and Cydney has not been willing to do that. She wants to go to the beach and shop with her girlfriends. This year the workouts only start about a week before school. She has a much better attitude.
Brian said he was tired of spending $20.00 a night a the ball field so we ate supper at home. Grayce is so funny she wanted to pack a cooler. We are ten minutes from the ball field. I think she will be okay. I always have water with me but I guess she was thinking she might need some food.
We have the night off tonight. We can eat supper at home again. I am going to curves, yuk! The children only have about eight days left of real school. I am looking forward to sleeping late(like that is going to happen)!
Gotta get started!
Oh, my sister corrected me. I should have said Brian cooked us supper but he didn't cook it he fixed it. He put the meat on the bread with some other "stuff". That is fixing!
