Yes, It can get HOTTER!

We went to a ball tournament in Cordele today. The car said 107. I know that was sitting in the parking lot on asphalt but I am sure to Cydney it felt hotter than that standing in the field. She was a little nervous this morning and would have back out if we let her but she played great, she hit great and now her confidence level is up! She played third base the whole game all three games. She played in the spring but this tournament stuff is new to her. She was cute yesterday when she got her new uniform and new bat bag.

We left the house before 7:00 this morning because our first game was at 9:00. The good thing about that was it was miserably hot yet! We all have tents and chairs and blankets that the parents take but when there isn't any breeze it is hot even under a tent. The girls are wearing long pants and long socks but they handle it really well. We make sure they have plenty of Gatorade and water and none of them complain! We played three games. We played at 9:00, 11:15 and 3:30. Guess what you do in between games. Sit! We all took food and we did eat lunch together and then the girls usually go watch the other teams play. Today both girls had a lot of friends on other teams so that made it interesting.

After the first game JB was ready to go so daddy met Brian in Unadilla and JB babysat daddy the rest of the day. Daddy picked up a four wheeler at the carlot and he wore daddys bicycle helmet so safety!

We are thinking we have another tournament next weekend but I won't know for sure until Monday afternoon. I am responsible for putting this all together!

Brance was ready to go home on Friday so I met Melissa at IKEA in downtown Atlanta. That is the coolest store. I can't wait until school starts back. Brian and I are going there on his first day off! He will love it! After IKEA she took me to Atlantic Station. WOW is it beautiful. It is funny how one side of the interstate is so nice and just across the road it is the hood! Brance wanted to drive a convertible to Atlanta so we did. It wasn't miserable until about 10 minutes before time to get out. James Brian and I rode with the top up and the air on high home!

Grayce found the tent the boys were supposed to sleep in. The good thing is if Margarett gets mad at Wayne he has a place to go! Matter of fact I might borrow that tent sometime!

Well we have had a long hot day so I am going to bed!
