A house full of other peoples children!

You all know how I feel about other people's children. Let me point out that I love some children. My friends know who you are and are well aware if I love their children are not! Unfortunately those friends also know if I just tolerate their children. God knew what he was doing when he didn't make me a school teacher!

Anyway, last night, Cydney had two friends over and Justin spent the night. I love Justin. He is the sweetest child ever. He is welcome at my house anytime! and he loves me! One of Cyd's friends was a boy. I didn't try to take his picture but he was the cutest one yet. He was friendly and dressed nice and he took his shoes off outside. He even went straight to Brian and shook his hand and said hi I am Zach. My daddy would've loved it! The best part. He drove a car, not a dumb redneck truck! I am sure since I like him Cydney doesn't or won't so I will just keep my mouth shut. Which I do anyway because I am afraid if I voice my opinion that is the one she will fall for. Girls!

Oh, when Brian came in from work there was no where to park.

Now G has a game at 12:00. I have to get the little ones ready.

What about that lady having 8 babies. That is just crazy. Besides she already had 6 at home. With no husband. Why do people let that happen and what kind of doctor would encourage multiple births when you already have 6 kids. It sounds like some kind of experiment to me. 14 children, who can buy shoes for 14 children. Much less send them to college. What is wrong with these people?
Yes, that is G on the ground wrestling the biggest girl for the ball. Brian asked her did she just look for the biggest girl to go after?

Basketball highlights

James Brian guarding his man, he is dribbling and then he takes a shot.

G bringing the ball down court. She is right in the middle of trying to get the ball. If you click on the picture you can see her. They are both number 25!

Cydney cheering them on!
Grayce guarding someone. Yes, the other player is twice her size.

HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY, BRIAN!

I know even when I am hundred he will only be 98! Don't worry he reminds me of that and also that I am his old lady! You can be assured that phrase gets him no where. Besides that who looks the oldest! HA!

Grayce had ball practice last night. I took her but there were plenty of parents so I didn't stay. B picked her up. Cydney stayed to help. She is getting plenty of exercise for soccer. She finally has a starting day but I forgot and failed to write it down. It starts in February. I think she is looking forward to it.

JB has a game tonight. He is excited. G has practice again. Both at the same time across town from each other. I don't know how soccer is going to work because 1/2 of those games will be out of town. Way out of town, like two hours. It will work out, it always does!

I found out yesterday that G has a field trip in April to driftwood, it is a three day thing. Lucky me, I get to go on this one. The agreement was if Brian with go with Cyd, I would go with G. That way we both got to see the place. Well, JB also has a field trip on one of the days we are going to be gone. Brian will go with him and really no one has to go. But I want to go. Poor little thing gets treated like a step child!

Cydney takes her lunch to school. She only ever wants a 1/2 sandwich. That is what I fix her everyday. Accidently one day I fixed her a whole sandwich. She ate it. So I got smart and started fixing a whole sandwich. Last night we were low on bread. It always happens. We won't eat any bread and then we eat a whole loaf in one day. Anyway, it turns out I had enough bread to fix her a whole sandwich. She got so angry over it. It was funny. Then I fixed her a waffle for breakfast but didn't get to finish it up yet, I was doing 20 other things, and she got mad about that. Now I am laughing out loud because the whole situation is just silly. So she butters her waffle and throws the knife in the sink and it hits a glass and breaks. Now she is histeraical and I am laughing because that is just the kind of day we are having. It all started over a sandwich which is even funnier! That is the short version, I left out the splashing the tea out of the glass and it running down her arm, me changing clothes 12 times, etc., etc.

We finally get to school in plenty of time but JB thinks he needs to be the first one there so he is fussing because it is 8:01 and school starts at 8:15 and he is going to be late.

Now my friend, Wendy, who teaches PE sees Cydney slowly getting out of the car and I had just shared the sandwich story with her and she tells Cydney she is hungry can she have 1/2 a sandwich!

If I love my children so much why am I so glad for them to get out of the car at school???

Now, I have been to Walgreens to pick up pictures, CVS to buy B a birthday card about being our crew chief, Kroger to buy groceries, the dollar general to buy cat food, the Bank of Perry and the dealership. I had to hurry home for the appliance man to fix my dryer because it was eating our clothes.

Grayce is going to fix B cheesecake for his birthday. I don't know when he will eat it.

I guess that is all the excitement I can stand. Enjoy your day!

I survived the laundry room!

Actually it was similar to remodeling a house. I should have taken before and after pictures. It still isn't as clean as I would like but there is only so much you can do in a room that is a total catch all! James Brian noticed as soon as he came in from school so that made my effort worth it. He is my clean child. The one that tells me when I need to vacuum or do laundry. It is funny hearing a little child say mom you need to clean!

Grayce has a basketball game last night. I took pictures but I can't get them downloaded and now the memory card is in the car so I will put those up later. She is kind of like a Chihuahua. The team we played last night have been playing together for several years. Our team is the leftovers. Anyway we did so good. Grayce was guarding a girl and I promise her eyes were at the girls waist and she would mess her up and still the ball and jump up and knock it out of her hand and flip it away. It was cool.

Today in Perry they are having some kind of auditions for a movie they are going to film. Well Cydney wanted to go. So Brian kept the little ones and Cyd and I stood in line for 1 1/2 to get in. They took our information and took our picture. We will see what happens. Cydney only wanted to go because the paper said there would be paid extras and she needs money!

No games tonight we are just playing around enjoying being home.

Nothing on tv I guess I can read!

24 Hours of Daytona??

I love to watch racing but some race started yesterday in Daytona and they raced for 24 hours straight. They did swap drivers and change tires and brakes but enough already. It finally went off but last night every time I changed the channel, when I thought Brian wasn't paying attention, he would say did you change the channel. I was trying to watch CSI: Miami at 2:00 this morning and he kept saying I was watching that! If that wasn't enough they has some other race on the speed channel. It felt like that ground hog movie around here last night.

You haven't missed much this week. Brian worked on his day off. G had practice and he took her for me.

I finished up at the dealership on Friday, before 9:00. I started in the house already. I am going back to exercise in the morning. Then I am going to start cleaning the laundry room. If you don't see a blog for a few days call 911 I may have gotten lost in all the junk in there! Friday night the girls went to the Westfield basketball game.

Saturday JB had a bb game. Justin came over real early and then at 11:00 they went to a derby race with Justins cub scouts. JB loved it.

We went to church and Sunday school this morning. Then to lunch at applebees. We had a gift card.

Now we are just hanging out. Actually I am doing laundry, G is at Hannahs, Justin is over and Cydney is playing music on the computer. I am not sure what Brian is doing. I colored my hair after church because it was looking a little edgy!

I am watching the clock because CSI comes on at 6:00 and trying to talk Brian into going to Publix because I am hungry for rice pudding.

Well, it looks like I gotta get my own pudding.....

TOP THREE ITEMS ON THINGS TO DO LIST...

(1) Equip my children with all the skills they will need to be happy, loving, successful, levelheaded adults!

(2) Invent something so simple, so genius, that I make millions, while everyone wonders , Why didn't I think of that?

(3) Have a house so organized that it looks just like the pictures in Real Simple magazine.

I have to blog before I forget!

Monday we were out of school. I was looking forward to everyone staying home and cleaning house! Ha! Cydney told me Saturday or Sunday that she had to have a physical for sports at school. Luckily I was able to get an appointment Monday morning. Grayce kept JB for me while we ran to Warner Robins. Justin played for a little while but he had boy scouts! We did something else later in the afternoon but I can't remember what!

Tuesday everybody went back to school and I went to work! GRRR! I guess my exercising has gone by the wayside. Actually I am kind of on a time frame so everyday I go to work and think this is the last day and then I have to end up going back. Hopefully I can finish this week. Brian was nice and said he had plenty more for me but I told him I had plenty to do for myself! Hurricane James Brian came thru my house! Actually JB is really good I just use him as an excuse.

The worse part about working is the food. I am going to have to have surgery again before the one year anniversary if I stay there much longer!

Grayce had a game last night at 8:30. Who schedules games at 8:30 for 11 and 12 year old children 30 minutes away from home on a school night? JB and I stayed home. He was asleep by 8:45 so I was glad I stayed but I don't think I have ever missed one of my childrens games. She didn't care and Brian said she did really good. She is a pistol!

What about the inauguration. I was sad to see President Bush leave. I am going to have a good attitude but I did get a little defencive over them playing that presidential music. Whatever the name of it is. Obama hasn't earned my respect yet and I didn't think he deserved it. I hope he surprises me and I do pray for him and his family and will continue to do so. It was fun to see all the traditions and even cool to see a young family with children in the White House. When the Obamas walked out of the White House each one with a child in tow made me think of my own mom and dad when I was little. God has blessed America!

Wednesday. We didn't do anything today. Well I worked again and now I have cooked supper and started the laundry. I think JB is ready for bed and who am I to argue with a 6 year old over bedtime! He is still playing monopoly. It is an ongoing game sitting on the kitchen table that he has been playing for 4 days! Sesame Street. I was Oscar the Grouch!

Grayce and I made a commitment to the ski trip in February with the church. I was having second thoughts until I found out G and I would have our own room. Maybe one other adult who is my friend. It will be a little vacation for me. Not really I think there are 76 children signed up to go. I don't like other peoples children. We are driving my car and following the bus so I won't be crammed in with all those kids! Plus if someone makes me mad I will just leave!

It is still freezing cold here. I swear I was warmer when I had an extra layer of fat!

Be safe.....

BRRR!

That is just how I feel. I can't seem to get warm ever! At work I am wearing my coat all day long. Today at church I wore my coat all thru Sunday school and church! People next to me are fanning themselves and I am freezing!

Friday G went home with a friend and Brian went to pick her up at 10:30. She isn't going to stay away from home! Then Saturday, good grief, we had at game at 12:00 in Warner Robins. Then we had a game at 5:00 in Perry. G's team was asked to go to the Northside game at 6:00 so I took her to Coach Rob's house and Pam took them to that game. She got home about 10:00!

Today after church and lunch JB played with Justin and the girls and I went to Kohls in Macon. G is just having the hardest time finding something she likes. Cydney and myself, well that is a different story. Actually neither of us bought anything this time but it was hard!

Everyone is home now and JB just said he was ready for bed! Yea Me! I better get before he changes his mind!

I forgot how crazy things get during ball season!

The little time off we had from playing sports was a welcome relief!

Monday night we had ball practice at 8:00. I like to be bed by 8:00! So that started the week off with the children going to bed late and then not wanting to get up the next morning, blah, blah, blah.

James Brian is whiny this afternoon and I know it is because he is tired.

Tuesday we had a game at 6:00 and another one at 7:15. Before JBs game was over Brian left to take G to her game. Grayce and MacKenzie make it a contact sport. You can see them wrestling for the ball in some of the pictures. (the first picture is MacKenzie, coach Rob's daughter from softball) Grayce has been working on her foul shots all week and she got one!

Wednesday we had the night off but I didn't like the outfit I wore to work so we all went shopping Wednesday night. The children really do need a few new things. Then we had supper at mexican with daddy and Margarett and Hayden. He calls me Moochelle. I try not to think of that in cow terms but it is hard.

Today, Brians off day. He had to go to work. I ran some errands and then took off work myself. I told Brian work stopped being fun about an hour ago(yesterday before lunch!) Now I have to do double duty tomorrow. Grayce has practice again tonight but no games today or tomorrow.

It is time to register for softball and I just keep putting it off. Cydney hasn't gone to soccer practice yet. They haven't official started.

Oh, I know Mark Martin isn't a Ford but I still pull for the old man! I also forgot to tell you someone stole wheels off two trucks. That picture is how we found that truck one morning!

Stay warm!

Cydney is Playing Soccer at School

I have to tell you soccer is not my favorite sport. I won't even hurt some ones feelings by giving you my idea of soccer but now Cydney says she is going to play. I know from playing in high school it is fun and great exercise so I think it is different the older you get but it just isn't my favorite. (It isn't because I can't play it because I can't play anything. I can't walk and chew gum at the same time!) (I can however give you a financial statement and tell you how much money the gum company is making!)(and how to cut some expenses!)

I started my morning off great. Besides I had to go to the bathroom 10 minutes before time to get up. Don't you hate that! We had to take Cyds friend to school today so we had to leave a little earlier to pick her up. JB was happy because he got to school early.

I was dressed and ready to go to curves and Brian called me and said Ford Credit was auditing so that shot that out the window. (They have to check the car I am driving). So I hurried and changed and went on to work and ended up leaving at 6:00 tonight. I wasn't working the whole time but by that time daddy was going to eat and the girls wanted to go so I just hung around.

Now we have ball practice at 8:00. I told Brian I would go because my friend Pam will be there and I can visit with her. He needs to rest anyway. He had another doctors appointment but didn't get to go. He will try again tomorrow.

I almost don't know what to do with myself without trying to find something to cook.

Last night CSI:Miami was on at 6:00 so I layed down in my room to watch it. Then at 7:00 another episode came on so I thought I would watch it. Well at 7:50 I fell asleep and didn't even see who committed the crime! Grayce woke me up at 8:20 talking to me. Of course I had to pretend I wasn't asleep. Then I had to get up to finish what I didn't do earlier.

My sister has strep throat. She drives the bus for her day care center. Well sick and all she got up and drove the bus, went home and then got up to pick the children up. I swear she makes me crazy. Lissy, I hope your feeling better by the time you read this.

Oh, Brian said my Carl Edwards background was stupid. I guess if I would have put some pretty girl it wouldn't have been stupid. In a couple of days I am going to put Matt Kenseth. If he wants half dressed girls he can get his own blog!

I gotta go to ball practice.....

Not Long Now!

It seems to me that NASCAR season just ended. Brian was making his reservations for Daytona today. That means it is time to start all over again. Cydney says she is going this year. Grayce and I are staying home because the next week we are going on a ski trip with the church.

We went to church and Sunday school today. Came home for lunch and now everyone thinks I am doing laundry but I am playing on the computer. Ooops, I just got caught.

Brian is so sick. I think he has the flu. He went to the doctor last week because he was getting sick. The doctor gave him a z pac which I hate, but he didn't know to ask for anything else. He has only gotten worse since he has been taking the medicine. I hope the doctor will give him some more drugs tomorrow.

Nothing else is happening. We have ball practice and ball games nearly every night next week. The camera is still in the car so if I remember to take it in I will get some pictures of the children playing.

Ain't no stopping us now!

Vacation has come and gone and now we are back in full swing.

After we got home from our basketball game yesterday G's coach called and wanted us to come and watch a team we are going to play next week. So at 7:15 we went back out to the middle school.

We came home about 8:30 and we all decided we were hungry. So we ate and then tried to settle down. The bad thing about being out of school it is hard to settle down once it is over. JB was excited about his birthday so he only wanted to play.

I worked at the car lot all day today. I can promise you I have more respect for parents who work and try to take care of children every time I work. Daddy did buy my lunch for working. I hate that part about the dealership. Those people are never hungry. There is always food and lots of it and customers bring in cookies and cakes all the time.

Tonight G has her first game at 7:15 and JB has practice at 6:00. Sometime we have to eat supper. We still owe JB birthday supper, he loves applebees(yuk).

The house looks like a hurricane hit it again. But, as Lori says, in the grand scheme of things does it really matter? Nope!

James Brian is 6 Years Old Today!

Well we made it another year. I managed to keep him out of harms way for another year. I have kept him reasonably clean and fed so I guess I am one up on alot of people! It is funny I would have never imagined the joy a child can bring. I am so blessed to have three healthy happy children.

We had a party at school today. I forgot the camera! His teacher, Miss Evelyn was so sweet and really made a big deal out of his birthday. She gave him a book that all his classmates had made a picture that said my wish to you is...with a picture they had drawn and colored. It was really cool. Some children wished him a race car and one child wished him a pool and another a pony with a saddle. It is something we can save forever!

After the school party I ran around every where looking for him a birthday present. Next year I will have to get his present before Christmas. The shelves are nearly bare and everyone is doing inventory. Target didn't have any toys out. I managed to get him some cars he didn't have so he was happy. I think he thinks it is like Christmas.

After school we went to the middle school to see the girls friend Kayla play basketball.

On the way home we talked about going to bed early because JB's eyes are all red. Then G's coach called and ask could we come to the basketball game tonight. The other rec team is playing the team we are playing Thursday. Good Grief. But I will do whatever she wants to do.

It looks like we are having birthday cake for supper which is fine with me. Brian is working. He is making up from missing the weekend and Michael is out of town. Plus they are supper busy!

I had lunch with my sister in law today. We had a nice visit. I don't know if I enjoyed it so much because I was with her or because it was just us! Love you, Lori!

Looks like thats all the drama for one day.

The Greatest Place on Earth

Well, that might be stretching it just a tad! I am sure if you ask Brian he would say it was hell on earth!

We are home now. We really did have a great time. The weather could not have been better if we ordered it ourselves. The first day I thought it was going to be cold in the evening so we loaded up the book bag with the jackets and lugged that thing around all day long and never did need a jacket!

We even got tired of carrying the camera around. The truth is when you have been to Disney as much as my children you don't really need a camera!

Cydney wanted to each lunch in France one day so after we left the Magic Kingdom to go back to Epcot to eat in France they didn't have anything available so we ended up in Mexico. Isn't that ironic.

The children are back in school today. It is a little lonely. It is a whole lot quiet! But I have plenty to keep me busy if I would just go start on it.

The pictures are us eating in Mexico, everyone riding Buzz lightyear, the boys driving the race cars, us eating at the Garden Grill at Epcot with Mickey and James Brian standing outside Luigi's Casa Della Tires!
