Goodys and a coke....Breakfast of Champions!

James Brian spent the night with Justin. After Justin spent at least 24 hours the two days before at our house. Which is fine. I love that child and you never know they are there. Unless Justin gets real tired and then he gets a little loud but he is still a really sweet child.

So I told you that to tell you this. I thought what a perfect day to sleep late! hah, Brian says tomorrow is a good day to get started early you don't have to work around the children. So hear I am. I am now waiting for Brian to get here or someone in service to come up so I can ask some questions.

I think I have it worked out so I can drop off the children at school, exersie, get my house clean and work at the same time. Notice work is on the bottom of the list. We aren't very busy and as it is now I will have to work all day on Wednesdays so I can probably get everything that I need to done in one day. With the exception of tags. I can do that every couple of days. I need to take some of Margaretts stuff from her to help out but I don't want to do it!

Cyds leg is healing up. It is still too sore to run around like she needs to but I know her she will play in pain over the weekend and worry about healing up after it is over.
The host mom called me last night from South Carolina. I am starting to get excited for Cydney. Grayce is so nervous for her she couldn't sleep last night! She started crying and said momma I just want her to win one game. Those girls make me crazy. I swear you would think they hate each other most of the time and then something like that happens and it makes you sit up and go oh they really do love each other!

Grayce is working at the car lot for the afternoon but she and Cydney are skipping out on work to go visit Hayden.

Cydney hurt her knee Friday at school ball practice. She slid into 3rd and popped her knee cap out of joint. The doctor said it popped right back in but it was UGLY! Her knee was as swollen as the top of her thigh. I even think it scared her because she let me take her to the doctor and didn't totally pitch a fit. She is and has been on crutches all weekend. The doctor said she could weight bare some on Monday but I think we are going to take it real slow because we leave Friday for the World Series and I certainly don't want her to get hurt and not be able to play in that game!

Cyd team washed cars all day Saturday. Well right after lunch they decided to hang out at the walmart entrance and ask for donations. They did really well.

After the walmart adventure we went to our friends the Johnson for a party. They have a place on the Ocmulgee River and the last rain created about a two acre sand bar. They had a cook out out there. It was fun and unusual. It was nice to see them. We haven't spent much time with them this summer.

Cydney did make the school softball team. She only made B team but she did get captain. The coach said she didn't feel comfortable putting her on varsity when she had not played school ball before. I understand that. Her attitude is really good and varsity has camp next week and she won't have to go. I was praying for her to make varsity and she was praying she didn't. I told her we probably had God confused. I know our prayers were answered the right way even though I didn't get mine answered the way I wanted!

I went to work at 6:00 on Friday. At 7:20 Coach Andy called me and said let me in and then Coach Rob came walking in about 7:40 and then Brian got there about 8:00! Needless to say I didn't get much done after that!

Annie went home yesterday. I think she had fun. She is sweet and this time she played better with JB than she did Grayce. I think the girls must be a little jealous of each other and I don't know how to correct it. They are nice to each other they just act a little jealous.

We went to church and Sunday school and then I had lunch ready when we got home. Daddy needed a phone number from the dealership so he called me last night and ask would I leave early and get it. I did. Then I walked in the door after church and he called and said that wasn't it would I go back, again. I did. That silly man had written down 1-800 instead of 1-877! He makes me nuts.

I guess that is it for today. We have all been working some in the house. I let the laundry get too backed up and now it is taking all day to finish. Plus washing the bathroom rugs and stuff! James Brian is playing with Justin and Grayce is reading her book for school. They go back August 6th and I am soooo not ready!

Facebook!

I signed up again for something my sister wanted me to do! I don't know why I listen to anything she says and usually I just let her think she is getting what she wants and then I am done with it. Well, at first I didn't like facebook. The friends that are life long friends that have always been friends are still my friends today. (Dana, Shannon) I talk to both of them several times a week and sometimes several times a day. Thank goodness for cell phones and a million minutes a month. Anyway the point is I have all the friends I need and want. But the facebook thing is getting kind of interesting. My cousin Larry who I see less than once a year is my fb friend. My cousin Tina who I haven't seen in several years is my friend. Then yesterday I was reading something my friend Jaimi wrote and she grew up either in south, south, south Georgia or north Florida but I went to school with one of her friends. So little things like that are neat. The silly thing is Grayce friends are on mine and Cydney's friends are there and it is a good way to keep up with information that someone might not just up and call to tell you. Brian doesn't love facebook but if you know Brian you know Brian doesn't like anything.

Grayce, JB and Annie went home with daddy last night. Cydney went to the Perry High School softball game and I hung out with Brian at the carlot. He picked up subway for us so I didn't have to cook, which was thoughtful don't you think. He ask me to go out but it was nice to come home early and put on night clothes! I was exhausted after spending two and a half hours at target school supply shopping! Plus I had gone to work at 6 again.

JB made it all night at daddys, G came home about 9 but I still got to sleep late. I was actually sleeping really good until the tv came on at 7! I had turned it off but Brian reset it sometime! Tomorrow I will work again at 6 and then a couple of days next week. The children go to school August 6th and I can work after I drop them off and go exercise. Brian thinks I am going to work full time but I am going to work long enough to hire someone and train them and then I am coming back home!

The Macon tv station came to the ballfield tonight to do a piece on Cyds ball team. It should air tomorrow at 6:00 PM. I will figure out how to post it or give you the web page.

We are all home safe and happy. Tummies full getting ready for a new day tomorrow.

When I started this blog several hours ago I still had a few hours until ball practice and I was not wanting to go but I honestly figured I would end up there. I am the go to girl and they have to ask me about everything! Half of Cydney's team plays on the high school team so they weren't going to be in town anyway. Cydneys school isn't playing games yet the first one is Friday, July 31st. The day we leave for Sumter! It ended up they cancelled practice so I didn't go to the ball field but I did talk to the coach and the other coaches husband!

My niece Annie is in town so I am spending quality time with her. Actually between JB and G I can't get a moment alone with her!

I went to work early this morning. I am loving it. No one to bother me! The only problem is I want to go to bed early at night and no one will let me. So I fall asleep for a minute and some one wakes me up! Its crazy but I guess four hours of sleep is enough for me!

It is almost eight and Brian is still at work. I sure hope he is selling something! It was looking pretty good today. The service department appeared to be full when I walked back there and customers were coming and going up front. That a good sign!

The nickelodeon channel is been all about Sponge bob for about 3 days and I have just about had it. I am going to call them and tell them they better put George Lopez back on at 9:00!

I guess thats it.

Making Up for what didn't get done yesterday!

We went to Sunday School and church as a family, that means we rode in the same car! We are making real progress, huh!

We had lunch at home. I cooked. I took a nap and Brian cleaned up the kitchen.

The boys played all day except when Brian was cutting the grass.

Cydney and Grayce went swimming at Robs. Then they went to Whiskey River, yes that is a bar. To the REHAB concert. They had so much fun. Liz, Danny's wife(the lead singer) took them. They went in the back door, they hung out on the bus with the band and then they were back stage at the concert. Don't worry the bar wasn't serving liquor on Sunday.

Saturday night Brian, JB and Cydney went to Cordele to the races. Grayce and I had girls night. David Ragan was racing so JB was excited. They got there picture taken with him. Bill Elliott was there. Brian said he knew 1/2 the people there. All the pictures Cyd took JB is sitting on top of a cooler in between our friends Andy and Ted. I am glad my grandmother doesn't read this blog.

Don't I get the mother of the year award. Races on Saturday and then a bar on Sunday!

I went to the dealership before 6:00 this morning. Went to exercise at 8:00. I am home doing laundry about to go back to the lot to finish up the sales tax.

Cydney had school ball practice at 9:00 this morning, PJL team practice at 6:15. I have a meeting with the parents and then I will come home and go to bed. Oh, I guess I will feed the children some where in between!

We are all still missing the beach. Cydney is already making plans for the next holiday!

Safe and Sound!

I think everyone knows I enjoy my children just fine without having friends around. This year well about 15 minutes before I ask them I decided I would ask Justin's family to go to the beach with us. We had the best time. Cydney took her friend Elizabeth. James Brian had Justin. Grayce had Justin's sister Melissa to play with and I had Vicki, Justin's mom.

Everything worked out great. Vicki did just whatever. If some children wanted to go to the beach there was an adult to stay with them while the other adult stayed at the pool. Vicki didn't mind riding down the strip while I stayed at the condo with the boys.

At night Vicki would take some of them walking down the beach and I would stay with the ones that didn't want to go. One night we all went crabbing and had a big time. Another night we all swam until the pool closed.

Cydney made some new friends, we ate good food and got a little suntan going on! Today we have all had the blahs because we weren't ready to come home but they rented our condo for 30 days so we had to go.

Brian, Cydney, JB, daddy and Margarett have all headed to Cordele to the race. David Ragan is going to race tonight. We have been talking about going but just haven't gotten to it yet. The summer is almost over and we haven't done 1/2 of what we wanted to do.

G and I are going to eat Mexican and I am not even hungry. I wished I could talk her into shopping instead. That would make me feel better!

Monday is back to normal. Cydney has school ball practice from 9-11 then PJL practice from 6-8. At some point she has to fit in working at the car lot because she is the only one who knows how to post the RO tickets. I am scheduled to work at 6:00 AM. I thought Brian wouldn't like it but he said good there is stuff piling up! The people at curves probably think I have quit but I am leaving the car lot at 8:00 and going straight to work out!

We leave July 31st for Sumter, SC. We have a hill to climb now getting ready to go. Tons more paperwork to complete. It will be worth all the trouble for Cydney to enjoy it while she has this opportunity.

I know that isn't much detail but there just isn't much to tell. Hopefully the pictures will make up for it.

WE WON!

Cydney's team pulled it out in the end....THEY ARE GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES!!!

I am so excited for her. She is crazy happy. Cydney has gone two years in a row with Grayce so we are all excited she get to experience the world series with her friends!

We leave July 31st. We only travel to Sumter, South Carolina but we are looking forward to it!

Not such a good softball day!

G lost her game. Her team is out:( I told her the softball gods weren't in her favor anyway. It is would be almost impossible and highly unlikely for her to be able to go to the World Series three years in a row!

Cydney's team also lost. They play tomorrow at 9:00AM. They have to lose two games so they have to win tomorrow or it is over for them! Her team has as good a chance as any of them.

Mary is still visiting. Lori and Whitley came down. Brian's team is still playing but, at this minute they are winning. Mary, Lori, Whitley, James Brian, Cydney and I left Brian and G at the ball field and had supper at the Mexican place!

State Tournament Day

Grayce and Cydney both won their games last night. Lots of drama to tell about the games when I have more time. Both girls did great!

Today:

Grayce lost her game. She plays again at 5:30.

Cydney plays at 7:30. Cyd's team only has to win this game to go to the World Series!

The team Brian is coaching with Rob plays at 8:00!

Update when I can. Thank Goodness the tournament is in Perry this year. We have been able to come home and rest during the games.

Gosh, I have never gone so long without posting and you all know that I can't remember from one day until the next!

The last I remember is we went to Atlanta on July 3rd to spend the night for daddy to run in the peachtree road race on July 4th. We have done it every year for 15 years except the year daddy had a broken foot! I tried to get the girls to leave earlier so we could hang out in Atlanta and shop or go to the zoo but no one wanted to miss ball practice! Go figure!

We spent the night at the Georgia Terrace. It is beautiful. I think it is supposed to be old but it is really nice and it didn't have a bar inside like the W did last year so we enjoyed the quietness! The girls and I left early to go to IKEA and we went to the two story target that is pretty neat. We also went to Atlantic Station. We had supper at the California Pizza place. The food wasn't great but the experience was fun. We didn't' get to shop at H&M so we have to go back there for Cydney and the bodies exhibit for Grayce.

We watched daddy run down the road. I know it sounds stupid but it is fun and very patriotic. If you haven't seen it you should go one time.

After our annual breakfast at the IHOP the children and I went to Grandmomma Croys. She has the best lunch fixed for us. She fed us like it was Thanksgiving! I wasn't even hungry but when she cooks you have to eat or suffer the consequences. Believe me it is less painful just to cram it down. The the next day you are wishing you had the leftovers!

As we left grandmommas house before we started south we decided to go to Rock City and Ruby Falls. It was only another hour and we hadn't been anywhere all summer. Brian didn't care, he has to work he only wished I would have told him and he would have driven up. Cydney couldn't make up her mind about going but after it was over she said she had fun. We stayed at a LaQuinta that was pretty new with a nice pool and a great breakfast!

We got home Sunday about 7:00. Only to find out grandmomma was mad at me for going so far. Mom tried to tell her I did stupid stuff all the time and that I was safe. I called and ask her to go but she didn't want to.

All the other days of the week we have just been practicing ball and I have been running around like crazy trying to help at the dealership. Fix rental house problems. Manage two ball teams. Shovel a path from the garage to the back door!

Back last summer I tried to work at the carlot at night when they closed. This week I have decieded it works out good for me to get there about 6:00 in the morning. I don't have to worry about going into the building we have an alarm now. Did I mention the girl in the office quit with two days notice. Margarett is doing a good job but she just can't do everything by herself and she has never had time to learn the things on the other desk. It has been 9 years since I did those things. It is coming back slowly and some of it I don't like but I think it is my family obligation to help. We will hire someone soon because I don't won't to do it and neither does Margarett. To be honest I don't have time right now.

I have finally finished the ball team stuff for the state tournament. Including finding G pants that fit today! The state tournament started this afternoon at 3:00. She won her game. Cydney plays at 8:00 and Brian is helping Robert coach the U10 team and they also play at 8:00. After this is over I don't think I ever want to see another yellow ball. The funny thing is both girls go practice for at least two hours sometimes longer and then they come home and want to throw some more! I am really proud that they have taken it serious!

The tournament will be over Sunday and win or lose we are going to the beach! Brian can't go yet but we need a little vacation. Besides if they win it will be right back to practice every night to prepare for the world series July 31st. Brian worked at the ball field until almost 11:00 last night. He is going to be lonesome when this is over!

Did I mention that to be at the carlot at 6:00 I have to get up at 5:00. Today I woke up at 4:00! I cannot think about getting up or I will wake up. I might just be out of steam by the time Cyd's game starts! The good thing is I am sure covering some ground first thing in the morning. It is so nice outside and quiet and no traffic.

Cydney won her game. In her league if you strike out and the catcher misses the ball you can run to first base. Cydney doesn't strike out much but she did once tonight and ended up on three with 2 RBI's! She won.

Brian and Rob's team won. Perry had a good night! One day down. Three more. We all play again tomorrow I just can't remember what time!

How many times can I go to town???

Luckily we only live 5 minutes out of town. Town isn't like downtown Atlanta but that is where the dealership is and all the restaurants and our church. Well yesterday I think I went to "town" six or seven times. Now today I have been three! Brian wonders why I don't get anything done! Actually he was nice about it last night when I said I am not coming to town tomorrow like I did today. He said that is why you stay home!

I forgot what started it yesterday but then I had to go to the tag office for WMF then I had to go to the bank. I had to help him post something. I had to take G to a friends and pick her up. We had ball practice. I needed laundry detergent. YA, ya, ya! I guess I could have condensed those trips but when they need something done at the car lot it and they ask me to do it, it is usually because they need it now.

It is still a zillion degrees outside. They girls are practicing ball every night except Wednesdays and Sundays. We have the night off tonight. I have supper ready. I am looking forward to us all sitting down together. (I am sure that will happen!) I finished my Janet Evanovich book. It was okay. Not her best. The one I am reading now isn't so great. Too much smut!(I don't even know who wrote it).

James Brian mopped the kitchen floor for me. I am still picking up in the house. He let me put away some of his cars. I have just decided the house will be clean when the children are grown.

Oh, the big important news. James Brian got his bunk beds up and running. Not really running but they are sleeping in them. He and Grayce. Both on the bottom bunk. I don't know why. Last night was the third night. JB did come to me before bed and say I wished I could sleep with you but I know I have to sleep in my bunk beds since you spent all that money. I said well you just go lay down until G goes to sleep and then come in here. By then he was asleep and didn't get back up. G was up and down all night worried about him. At some point I was awake and I heard something go bump. Apparently he got up and ran into the wall. G said he cried a second and then went right back to sleep. G was worried but I told her he wouldn't remember and sure enough he didn't. I was worried but I made sure he didn't have a bump and was only the wall not concrete.
