Wayne Morris Ford is business of the month. The Chamber real made this big production out of it! A bunch of members came by, brought us biscuits, gave us a goody bag(Margarett and I grabbed it up), put a sign on the front lawn and a sign by the door where most customers come in. Wayne made a little speech and talked for a second a said he was embarrassed and I said I'm not! Meagan, the chamber leader, I don't know her job title, said all my hard work paid off! I really think they were just desperate! Our picture will be in the paper. I was right up front and in the middle!
There just isn't time to blog anymore. Brian and I had real sit down lunch together today. It was really nice. He was fussing about how much it cost but I told him you can't put a price on quality time with me! He didn't laugh!
We have had a slow week this week. We were off yesterday and today. Next week makes up for it. It is crazy busy! JB wants to have family game night tonight. I guess if Brian gets home at a reasonable hour we will. If not they will be having single father game night because I will be in bed!
I am trying to decide what to do next week about Cydneys soccer games. Monday her game is in Columbus. I don't usually travel that far but she is down to just three games. G has a softball game but it isn't until 7:30. It doesn't matter if I miss it Brian will be there. Then on Tuesday Cyd has soccer at home at 5, G and JB have softball/baseball at 6 and Cyd has softball at 7:30. I will see most of the soccer game and catch the tail end of G and JB's games. I will see some of Cyd's softball game but I will take the little ones on home to get ready for bed and eat supper. Then Wednesday it is Cyd's last scheduled soccer game in Americus so I think I am going to take the little ones and us all go to that game. Then Cyd will have playoffs or something but we don't know the dates or times or places of that yet. Actually if my memory serves me correctly Mary, Brian's mom, might be coming down Tuesday to see those games.
Cydney will be 17 on Sunday. I am so sad. I ask my friend Shannon can she believe I have made it this far and neither one of us have hurt the other! I remember when she was just a tiny girl and I would go to bed thankful I got her to eat supper. Thinking one more day down. Thank the Lord children learn to talk and can help you out when eating!
The children only have 20 more days of school left. Then Cydney will be a Senior! Ok. I'm sad!
I guess thats all I can think of right now. If it rains really hard Sunday and Monday morning I won't have to worry about those games!
